Loved the review. I can't believe how much and how varied the food options are-truly something for everyone! Lisa, you can now add TV food critic to your resume!!!! :) A+ video Bill..great job.
You're Po Boy sandwich looks fantastic! I haven;t been to the LA Farmer's Market in years, but when we were there we loved the Gumbo Pot! The seafood gumbo and potato salad were so delicious!
Bill and Lisa, my father was a truck driver for C&H sugar and every Monday he delivered sugar to Littlejohns and also Dupars at the Farmers Market. The ladies at Littlejohns were always so nice and generous. They always gave him a small box of the brittle which was delicious and something we looked forward to. A dear friend from Australia was here in June. We went to the Farmers Market for lunch and stopped at Littlejohns. It hasn't changed and the brittle is still very delicious. The delivery man had just left, and there was the supply of C&H sugar! You story brought back so many memories. Thank you for sharing.
Thank you for sharing, Georgeanne. Great to know Littlejohns is still making their products the old fashioned way, with lots of Challenge butter and C&H. lol
You guys are becoming celebrities!! All over the world is knowing you guys. That's amazing!! Keep it up! One day Ellen or jimmy Kimmel will one day will call you to attend their show.
Farmer's Market was one of my favorite places to go when I was growing up in Los Angeles. You should try Bryan's, Magee's corned beef and Bob's donuts. All amazing and been there forever.
Hi Bill and Lisa always great videos. I would enjoy visiting there. Homemade peanut butter looked awesome. The plate of food you got looked delicious too. What a fun place. So much to choose from. Wonderful you got to be on channel 5. Your famous now and well deserved. Take care guys.
Great vlog 👍and it is so good to see that we’re finally getting into a normal movement again , with all the bad news out there , love farmers market where you can try all the different foods , TY again for your awesome reviews Bill and Lisa
To Lisa: I knew I'd run into you at work one day. Late Saturday night maybe you remember leaving your shift and walking through the parking lot past my white car that was being tended to by security and AAA. I wanted to say hi so bad but I had to deal with my car. I'll have to come by for a drink one night!
Hi Bill & Lisa! My husband, LosFlyingTurntables, and I absolutely love you guys. I grew up in LA and as a Persian I’d love to recommend you try out Attari Sandwich Shop in Westwood. Absolutely bomb y’all. They are hella legendary LA Persian eats and we just wanted to put it on your radar. If you go hit up the Persian ice cream shop Saffron across the street. Dank ❤️🤘🏽
Can't wait to visit the Farmer's Market. It has been on my list for years. It all looks so good. That toffee is calling my name! Lisa on KTLA!!! Woo hoo! We used to have KTLA in El Paso as one of our cable channels. Would watch the Rose Parade on that channel every year. Unfortunately we no longer get that channel. 😞
If anyone in recent years has ever visited the LA Farmers Market, you obvious were amongst the huge crowds enjoying themselves there. But believe it or not, there was a time when the Market was in danger of closing down due to poor attendance and just a general rundown of the area and the market itself. What ended up not only saving the Farmers Market, but actually causing it to thrive and become more popular than ever was the development of the hugely popular Grove shopping/dining center next door. It literally revitalized the Market and surrounding neighborhood.
I've been going to the farmers market for over 50 yrs. They did change it alittle thru the years but it's still one of my favorite places. And a good place to people watch
Aww Lisa on the news 😊We ❤️Monsieur Marcel Gourmet Market at the FM! We’ll try to head there on Wednesday 🙏 I picked up a bottle of Crystal at Smart & Final when I got back from NOLA for my homemade grits 😋Nice eats ♥️
Hi, my spouse, Stephanie and god daughter, Alihea love watching you. Could you wish them both a Happy Birthday for August. Thanks for the great content!!! 🤗🤗🤗💯
fun times at a great la delight. i believe i was there maybe back in 1985. right next to nbc studios? i do not recall eating there though. great way for an eatery to get some foot traffic and business. maybe the original food court idea?
The international market is great there. Lots of curated items you can't get anywhere else. Addituonally, premium shopping and the best (imho) Erewhon of the chain. Beware of the produce sticker shock. Strawberries were 20.00 for a container. I wantef to thank you folks because I have not been down sincecWaffleshot opened. I have to go this coming weekend. Honestly, that is not a bad price for an elevsted dessert
Of all the poboys we had in New Orleans, none had lemon in it. That's what we thought when we saw the lemon rind, but it wasn't bitter maybe because it was thinly sliced?
When you go to New Orleans, can you visit Lafayette and Baton rouge. I've never been there. Goto to beautiful plantations on the way. It's American castle. Sad part is learning about slavery.
Would like to visit other parts of LA, but for flight convenience and concentration of things to do and eat, the Quarter area is where we always seem to gravitate to.
Yes, prices have gone up, not only there, but we see it in other places too. With the rising cost of foods, these businesses have to do what they have to do to keep going. That said, a 'best deals' is a good idea for a future video.
Fried shrimps with lemon sandwich is a little different. That looks like a huge farmer’s market. Those meats are thick cuts Brazilian BBQ which Lisa says is not cheap but has great flavors and very good. Peanut butter, pickles, English toffees, waffles cones with ice cream are some great sweets. It isn’t your typical farmer’s market with all kinds of cooked food and sweets. Guess you didn’t show the junk food, haha 😂!!!!
Aloha! We ate lunch at Maggianos at the Grove and walked over to the Farmer's Market last Tuesday (7/26). Was that the day you guys were there? If so, shucks, just missed you guys by a couple of hours. We bought lots of toffee from Little John's and a few empanadas from Nonna's. Would have gotten some of that home made peanut butter to take home, but just learned of about it on this video. Great recommendations!
im an eating machine. your videos fuel my hunger. 🤖 would u consider making a t shirt thats says "i am an eating machine" or "am i making you hungry, yet?" for your merch store? or a bill and lisa buckeyes shirt 🤡
Yes, it's no Leidenheimer as we mentioned, and probably not practical for a small business in Los Angeles to import it. The lemon was new to us, tastes great in the poboy!
Good Afternoon. I met you at your job me and my son I wanted to see if you could shout out a birthday wish for my son Nicco.. he’s turning 14 years old thank you..
little John's is worth every penny. I bought a box after one of your reviews
The best!
Bill and Lisa are awesome
🤗
Loved the review. I can't believe how much and how varied the food options are-truly something for everyone! Lisa, you can now add TV food critic to your resume!!!! :) A+ video Bill..great job.
So true! Something for everyone at the LA Farmers Market!
Yum!!! I seriously can't believe how much you did in 1.5 days! I am full just watching this. 😀
You're Po Boy sandwich looks fantastic! I haven;t been to the LA Farmer's Market in years, but when we were there we loved the Gumbo Pot! The seafood gumbo and potato salad were so delicious!
Very skimpy looking Poboy! Should have about three times as many shrimp on there.
So fun to see you at the Farmers Market! We are big fans of yours and really admire what you do with your channel. CHEERS guys!!!
We appreciate that! Thank you!
I was thinking yesterday, I hope they hit the LA market again soon.

To Lisa: I knew I'd run into you at work one day. Thanks for the rec! Here's a video to watch incase you missed it.. ua-cam.com/video/mBODZ8M3Oc4/v-deo.html
The po Boy and pichana looks good. The toffee looks good. Little John toffee is expensive
“You’re eating all of them” LOL!!! I think Bill wanted a pickle! You two are just the best! ❤️🎶❤️
Looks so delicious. I’m in CT. So can only drool 🤤
The corned beef sandwich is very very good, try it on the next one

Try on line.
@@Moondoggy1941 Thank you. Didn't even think to do that. 🤦♀️
@@yvonneacosta2539 If you need another fix from LA listen to KFI 640 AM on line as well. I like to think as myself and a San Diego Poser.
@Yvonne You're going to need a month here for the ultimate LA foodie tour! lol
Wow! The farmers market looked huge! I would love to try the brazillian food. It looked so yummy!!
It is of good size, so many shops and eateries!

The Grove definitely spiced up the area. It's now a full day's outing when you visit both the Grove and FM.
I've been going to the farmers market for over 50 yrs. They did change it alittle thru the years but it's still one of my favorite places. And a good place to people watch
Fresh PB ....and jelly sandwiches coming up.😋
Yesss!!!
Thanks for sharing 🙏🏽👍🏿❤️🇺🇸🥰🎊🎉

@@billandlisa THANKS 😁😁😁
I knew Lisa could not resist the toffee! LoL
i know where my wife and I would be weekends. I guess California weather allows a placelike this. Connecticut here.
Hi Bill and Lisa from England! You can also try the afogato with a shot of your favourite alcohol e.g. Malibo. Enjoy
Ooh... nice!
I would love to try that shrimp po boy, looks delicious. So is the Brazilian bar q.
So good!
The Brazilian food looks really good. I've never tried before, but always wanted to.
It's great! You'll love it!
I love y’all’s videos!!
Been there a long time ago. Didn't know what to eat. Now I do for our next visit! Brazilian meat and Toffee!
How's your A1C? 🤣
fun times at a great la delight. i believe i was there maybe back in 1985. right next to nbc studios? i do not recall eating there though. great way for an eatery to get some foot traffic and business. maybe the original food court idea?
Maybe! Back then, pretty sure there were more produce type booths.
Next door to CBS, not NBC… where nothing happens anymore…for a long time now!
The international market is great there. Lots of curated items you can't get anywhere else. Addituonally, premium shopping and the best (imho) Erewhon of the chain. Beware of the produce sticker shock. Strawberries were 20.00 for a container.

Have a great time at FM! You’ll love the Waffleshot!
There is currently a shooting taking place right now. Glad you guys visited before this event.
Great Video. I would have taken a hot pastrami sandwich or Rubin over a Po Boy
Next time, we'll try the Ruben. Another reason to go back. lol
I I am a super fan to I think your next adventure should be Mall foods check those out love to know how you rate mall foods
We did some mall foods from the Mall of America. Often times, they're mostly chain fast foods restaurants. Thanks for being a Super Fan, Marie!
Love you guys. Hope you weren't in Vegas last week.
Not during that storm, that was crazy.
Hi guys
Bounce bounce bounce.
Is it normal to put a slice of lemon in a po boy? Seems like the rind would be super bitter…..
Of all the poboys we had in New Orleans, none had lemon in it. That's what we thought when we saw the lemon rind, but it wasn't bitter maybe because it was thinly sliced?
13:50 Bill didnt want to try one anyways....
LOL! Lisa's more of a pickle fan.
If you want good French pastry, check out Michelina the next time you're at the Farmers Market! One of the best kouign amann in the city.
Good to know! Thanks for the rec.

We went last month and it's sooo expensive there. You almost need to do a "best deals" for farmers market.
Yes, prices have gone up, not only there, but we see it in other places too. With the rising cost of foods, these businesses have to do what they have to do to keep going. That said, a 'best deals' is a good idea for a future video.

I wish they would bring back Taste of Farmer's Market.
Agreed! That was such a fun event.

8:43 "A little bit of meat with a little bit of sweet, that's how you eat...." (M.C. Lady Lisa the Rapper, July 2022)
We should put that on a shirt! lol
I hope you guys are safe. Another shooting.
We are, thanks.

this the last place that the cops came too Hopefully you guys got out safe
We filmed this vlog a couple weeks ago.
im an eating machine. your videos fuel my hunger. 🤖 would u consider making a t shirt thats says "i am an eating machine" or "am i making you hungry, yet?" for your merch store? or a bill and lisa buckeyes shirt 🤡
LOL! Maybe!
sorry, but there's WAY too much bread on that po'boy. in nawlin's every sandwich is close to 60% shrimp. & where's the remoulade?
Could've used more shrimp for sure, and not the same bread, but that's what having a poboy in New Orleans so special.
The bread on the poboy is all wrong. Thin sliced lemon is natural on poboy sandwiches in Creole homes.
Yes, it's no Leidenheimer as we mentioned, and probably not practical for a small business in Los Angeles to import it. The lemon was new to us, tastes great in the poboy!
Go back New Orleans for a good poboy.
Yes, wanting to go back, but flights and weather doesn't look good.
Good Afternoon. I met you at your job me and my son I wanted to see if you could shout out a birthday wish for my son Nicco.. he’s turning 14 years old thank you..
Absolutely! Look for it in a couple weeks. Thanks so much for saying Hi!
Maybe you are supposed to take the lemon off at squeeze it on I would not eat the lemon
The place is expensive.
Bread looks terrible on po’boy shrimp
She has way too much meat! Portion control needed. And btw, the food here is weighed and you are charged by weight. Portion control, budget control!
