For sure, intimacy with God is essential. It's important to note that there is a big difference between those with the gift of prophecy and the office of the prophet. A true prophet will follow the leading of the Holy Spirit to warn the Church, calling the people to repentance... and to restore holiness and the fear of God to the Church. They will also expose heresy. The gift of prophecy is to edify and encourage. I hope this will be helpful.
I spend time with my Father every morning. Started being totally committed almost 2 yrs ago. I don't feel called to prophecy but I desire I to have the anointing to lay hands on others for encouragement and healing. Lord help me to walk worthy of this anointing and to be careful to give You all the glory ❤

There seems to be alot of warefare as I go into intercession. I've been trying to push through. Now I'm believing in Just need to rest in Him and He will fight for me. In my life, I have seen how God prepared me for a life of intercession as a woman in the Body. One of the things He did was command me to obey in the area of head coverings, and also to not speak out in church meetings! Not common in pentecostal settings, but who are we to disagree and ignore God's holy word ❤️

Spot on with this month- really this season of spring peaking in June of being renewed in covenant, intimacy- interceding for the season ahead and what is birthed in the season ahead. Being in the secret place, dying to self and knowing what it is- knowing and encountering what it feels like and having faith of being IN CHRIST. I also feel a large call to intercede for church leaders that they may not fall into the snare- for protection from witchcraft and legalism. Lord lead them not into temptation but deliver them from the evil one.

If were going by the word of God then there are gifts that must accompany the office of a prophet. That is not up to debate. Some say or believe they are a prophet yet all those gifts that work in that office or calling how ever you want to call it are not there. Then you never have to tell anyone "Im a prophet".
This must be why so many are hindered to enter into intimacy or be in the secret place. Distractions, worry, sleep, activities…..and so much more. A lethargy falls over them. Attempting to destroy their relationship with Him. Definitely some things he noticed anyway.

Unfortunately remiah 27:18 has absolutely nothing to do with identifying true prophets. Please study the Bible for what it actually says, and not to support your own human ideas. This is a taunt by Jeremaiah aimed at the false prophets. He says, "Look, if they are true prophets like they claim, lets see if God actually listens to them." Mr. Johnson, you are like the false prophets that Jeremaih spoke of here in this passage. You are like the pharisees in Jesus' time. You say, "God says", and yet you speak from your own human heart. Please repent while you can.
