There is nothing wrong with being average. But when you live in a world where there are people who achieve great and big achievements it's normal to feel like you are nothing, and there is nothing that you are good at and you will feel like you should be like them.
2:31 do you guys think what Feeny is doing is kind of creepy? Apparently a man's innocent, casual touch on a girl or woman _isn't_ so innocent or casual as far as most people are concerned.
Notice the audience laughed when Shawn talked about Angela maintaining black identity while having 3 white friends. If Shawn or Cory talked about Angela or Topanga maintaining female identity while having 2 male friends I bet the audience wouldn't laugh at that and I bet that both Angela and Topanga would be offended. Just saying.
You’re forgetting this was a 90’s audience people weren’t so sensitive about topics of race, racism, or prejudice the way everyone is now. You could make a joke about it without causing public outrage. Honestly if she said the same thing about maintaining female identity it would’ve been just as funny and the audience still would’ve laughed. In today’s world they would have probably been forced to cut the episode. The episode where Shawn and Cory got drunk at that party after Cory and Topanga broke up, they cut that episode out years later when they were showing re-runs on ABC Family because they felt it was pushing underage kids to drink when in fact it was doing the opposite. Any sensitive topic discussed on a show gets cancelled now
When i was little i didn't understand that but i could feel it, the whole episode i felt unnecessary to humiliate Cory just to show girl power instead of two gender geting along fine, that included showing Cory being ok with just average while his sister found out a real talent.
Everyone is talented at something maybe it's being a good friend to someone like his friend sean
Wow Corey could be a self centered little snot when he wanted to be
Took all the time but this is the one time where he is right to be jealous. However he's grown and it's his responsibility

1:59 Mr. Matthews, give her back her nose.
Nah, I think Cory's interpretation hit the nail on the head. Well, his foreshadowing.
Wow Cory your soooooo incentive to his father he did everything for you, you should appreciate what you have
He realized eventually what he did wrong. But what he was good at was being a good friend and a great future father
He thought he was average growing up and that he didn’t have any special talents
Man he’s whipped
What happened to the voices ???
Eileen Paris they do it so it won’t get taken down by UA-cam for copyright.

We might be Romanian but I don't like the paintings at all. I don't think that takes major talent.
