@@niconilo97 Not exactly how it works. When you receive sensory input (hear something, see something, smell something, touch something, taste something, or even think about something (which is what makes humans unique, the ability to conceptualize abstract concepts and learn from them)), it's first embedded in your sensory memory, which is where all sensory information gets located, then it enters the working memory if you supplement the sensory information with attention, and finally it's either encoded into short- or long-term memory, or it's forgotten. The difference between long-term memory, short-term memory, sensory memory, and working memory, is the strength of the connection between the neurons, and what part of the brain the firing pattern (the distinct "roads" that different neurons send electrochemical signals along, each pattern associated with a different memory) goes through. For example, you'll find that memories that go through the amygdala, the emotion regulation center of the brain, tend to be easier to remember, and tend to be long-term memories. That being said, memories in the working memory are still memories which by definition means that they've got an associated firing pattern aka a connection of neurons. You cannot have a conscious thought that isn't a memory, it's not only made into a memory once it becomes a long-term memory. Once the memory is encoded, if it becomes a short-term memory it can be further strengthened into a long-term memory through the process of repetition, or if it becomes a long-term memory it technically remains in the brain indefinitely but it can still be "disturbed" by overwriting information or missing retrieval cues. Basically, it's considered a "memory" even before you become aware of it. What you perceive as a "memory" is actually a "long-term memory," and what he described is referred to as "short-term memory."

My mom drank too much alcohol until she became drunk. All I know is that my mom was acting crazy because her friend died alone at his house, and she started drinking alcohol and banging on her hand while she was drunk. In addition, my mom tried to jump out of her apartment building, but I stopped her from climbing on the window. I tried to let go of the past, but it kept returning to my mind. I moved to my new home with my grandparents from my mom’s house because I was worried that my mom would drink too much alcohol until she would be drunk. I might as well forgive my mom for being drunk instead of blaming her. This show explains to me that people drinking alcohol makes them feel drunk. I prefer not to drink alcohol because it's gonna make me crazy and become drunk.

Yes. Drink.
Water right?
Reject Alcohol, return to coca cola.
I like these videos. When I try to do my own research on Google, most of the stuff is talking about how horrible alcohol is. Honestly I genuinely don't care, I just wanna know how this works
Almost anything can be preserved in alcohol, except happiness, health and wealth
Why to choose this disaster named Alcohol if there r so many things to rejoice on our mother Earth naturally?
Its Fun
Hey, to play Devil's Advocate, people wouldn't use it if it didn't work...
After having the most out off body experience on psilocybin, I feel my outlook and plan for my life has changed. I got so much work done in my head in those 6 hours, I really wish it’s that easy to get them here in Texas, I'll be very glad
Took 3 grams on my second trip and the visuals were almost nonexistent, but my god it was by far the most enlightening experience of my life
It’s super sad that we have to be so secretive about it. It’s part of Mother Earth. Not man-made like alcohol or meth.

Tried shrooms two weeks ago only 2.5 grams and it was the most relieved and self accepting I’ve felt in a long time.
@Gonzalex John Yes he’s very good at this, sells shrooms, shrooms bars , lsd and more
"Those with naturally low endorphin or dopamine levels may self medicate through drinking"
Me: Interesting [takes sip]

Was sitting at work and randomly a great google topic comes to mind, "How does alcohol make you drunk?"
I know a majority of people understand how bad alcohol is and what it can do their liver and health. I just don't understand why people still do it.
That’s exactly explained in the video as well plz re watch it 💁
I’m writing this while absolutely smadjed
"how does alcohol make you drunk?"
how does dying make you die
How does alcohol relate with religion, stop talking about religiousness here
this does not make any sense
You don't understand
@@someone-zw7sb glad we could be in terms

Can we appreciate how good having a drink with your mates is
NO
@@Amiboman3 and if we can’t appreciate it then why do we drink alchol huh ?
This was great I actually like learning a little on my spare time 😂
Make sense now. I'm definitely 4:10. Or in other words lightweight lol. I can take 1 shot and fall asleep. I become a lot more talkative when drinking but if I'm sitting still it usually results in me falling asleep.
I love these animations

I'm 36 years old and I never had alcohol in my life.
You've almost certainly had something with ethanol in it.
The russian flag at 4:29 can't be a coincidence
Yes.... Just go & check alcohol's history by ted ed....
Your Brian in on alcohol
I was waiting for them to explain why your head hurts so bad the next morning after drinking
2:02 my boy Plankton let himself go. He went from cylindrical to circular and 30% of that weight gain went to his nose. Maybe this is an alternate spongebob episode where the villain is a raging alcoholic. A girl can dream
I've been sober for 19years since when the date where many people confirm and truly believe it as or accept that it was in fact, the day, the only day in which i was born.......
as a Muslim who has never drink a sip of alcohol in his entire life , i would say you CAN live without alcohol and still enjoy life :)
Exactly! I’m a Muslim as a well and I’m enjoying life!
Never been drunk or tasted alcohol in my whole 21 years.
