In one of them you are telling us about a veryyyy cool place to shop souvenirs
It had like old licence NY plates and other pretty cool stuf to
I can’t find that videoooo!!!!! You maybe know that shop or what video is that?❤❤
Haha I purposely clicked on this video after I cozied up with a plate of food 😂 I'm not new here 😂😂
😝
First time I was actually SMART enough to watch one of these videos on a FULL stomach!
Why am I watching this? ^^ I wish I were there with you guys. I luv dumpling so much~~
I love Lady Wong. Their pandan nian gao/sticky rice cake is absurdly good.
They're all so different and goooood!
:)
Missing all those delicious eats in the EATS VILLAGE 🤪
This is what makes NYC so great! You get such an amazing array of authentic cuisine choices from just about everywhere in the world. It's really unlike anywhere else. Thank you so much for sharing.
Jon I agree with you that our trips to NYC do not need to be that expansive !
Went from las vegas to new york to ear here. The food not only was delicious with different varieties. I also felt welcomed home to the shop. Love it here and will definitely be back for more!!! Thank you for the video recommendations as always!!!!
My old neighborhood sure has changed - for the better.
Great video! Keep up the good work.
Classic Jon Cheap Eats video. Dumplings looked very nice. I don't know how you find all these places. Seriously if you are new to Jon's Video's check them all out. The best most realistic NYC Guide on UA-cam with the eating video's and cheap eats being his best. Nearly everything is covered New York. Thanks Jon.
Just got back from Belgium n Germany, Jon. Nice to see updates from my fave city, NYC. Thanks to you Jon. And tell #Benthecameraman, my wife is making sapin sapin and cassava cake. If ever You and Ben come to Ireland, let me know, I'll surely invite in our home.
Hi me and my partner where just there yesterday from the UK thank you for all the tips it was our first time in NYC and we loved it and our best tip we used the free ferry to see the statue of liberty 🗽
This is awesome. I live 25 mins from NYC and have yet to go back since Pandemic. I have been looking for places to eat like this! Awesome! All of it is worth trying!
Everything looks delicious.
Oh K-Dog is pretty good but my favorite Korean corn dog is Two Hands; most of the corn dogs themselves are about the same but Two Hands pairs the sauces with the individual dogs so you don’t feel too overwhelmed with all the options.
Can't wait to try these places next time I'm in the Big Apple 😋
I like these cohosts I've seen them before thumbs up
In the 1970s new yorkers would have looked down on meat and potatoes as "plain dinosaur food" but I'm happy to see irish food bring super popular nowadays. Simple food is healthiest!!!
Part 2, 3, 4, & 5: featuring Ray's Candy Store! 😆
Haha let's do it!
FYI, Inari is a kind of sushi. Sweet fried tofu skin stuffed with seasoned (vinegar/sugar) sushi rice. My favorites also have bits of carrot and mushroom mixed in the rice. (try it for breakfast!). But a place specializing in crazy Inari! I have to go!
🙌🏼🙌🏼
Amazing video, thank you🫶🏻. I tried already the dumplings and they were 🔥. I would like to see a pizza guide through different districts. Also you MUST review Luzzo’s La Pizza Napoletana.
Can’t wait! I’ll be in the city this weekend. So I might try a few of these out 😊
Do it!
I live in east village can confirm yubu is great
Really enjoyed this video. Can’t wait to try out the food in East Village next vacation 🤤
Love that u showed search n destroy in the b-roll in the beginning when talkin bout east village
After paying the rent for an apartment in the East Village, you'd be lucky to afford even cheap eats!
Good foodie places in nyc. Thanks for sharing.
Everything looks delicious but I must go to Lady Wong! The Black Sesame Passionfruit! Can’t wait 🤤😋
They all look delish! 😍
Great video. Will plan try on my next visit to NYC. Thank you for the information. 🤤🤤🤤
Great content Barr!
That all look amazing 😋👏👏
The East Village hasn’t been hip for more than 25 years. Where the rents have become $3.5k+ for a tiny studio….no longer hip. Interesting, yes. Good food, yes. Trendy food, yes. Hip, no. 😀
You should have seen it in the early-to mid-80s. THEN it was hip.
Thanks for your videos. I really enjoy them!
I feel you
I agree, it lost a lot of charm but the east village is still good. Much better than cities like St. Louis where it’s like an abandoned ghost town and empty streets with massive population decline to the suburbs
Thanks!
Thanks guys , I must try K dog , looks so good 😊
Brilliant video! 2:25 Nearby attractions are a good idea for a restaurant video.
Another great video! Thanks 🤓
Glad you enjoyed it!
I love the East Village! Good choice!
Cool show today Jon with Ben and Ming
Love it 😍 ❤️
nice vlog before im coming next week ahaahha thank you john - 6🗽🗽🗽🗽🗽
Damn I was on Stanton yesterday smh, and I was starving too
Thanks
I was fully prepared to watch one of your videos then move on. Instead, I was surprised by your pleasant demeanor without being obnoxious. Guess what? You have a new subscriber. Great job. If I lived in NYC instead of the mountains of Utah, I'd be honored to have you as a neighbor and friend.
I live in Gramercy & I've been wanting to check out yubu
great video
Would you be willing to make a video about food near The Battery or the south end of Manhattan?
On my radar actually
Can you make some videos about Long Island City?
Sapin sapin my favorite! Mmm😊
Thaï dumplings are the best to my eyes okkkuuuuurrrrr 😊
Are there in East Vilage?😍😍😍Amazing👍
HI, do you think it's a good idea to visit NYC on a holiday in November 2nd half or 15th onwards?
Your old neighborhood before you smarten up and moved to Brooklyn.. Wish I had that drive..😅
Lmao 😂 it's like my 3rd Wheel video all over again
Corn dog - American classic of fairs and boardwalks - something tried once out of curiosity and wanted to forget… Now I’m sure this is not same but really bringing that idea back???!!! 😂
In my opinion, the most important thing in a corn dog is the quality of the hotdog. A good batter or exterior is important too. Most corn dogs are mediocre with that “school cafeteria” taste but occasionally it’s pretty good.
Thanks for teaming up with them ,as they are fun! All the food looked great!
Were the Korean corn dogs you had actually coated in cornmeal, or were they Korean RiceDogs?…We have a food court K-dog chain around here in San Diego, called “Zzang”, and their dogs are coated in Rice powder batter, rather than corn meal powder that a traditional “corn dog” would use…very tasty and different (and quite affordable) and they tend to have similar varieties to the place you visited
You know I’m not sure I didn’t ask
Great video! The dumplings look amazing, but WOW the cost! St Marks Pl is definitely not what it used to be. So expensive now. I will probably still try these dumplings!
It might be cheaper in Brooklyn, Queens though. But expensive in the suburbs since those types of Asian foods usually have no competition
Another part would be good or is most cheap food Asian or pizza, it's mostly what I'm seeing in videos. They are tasty but need more variety.
$5 for cheese and sugar, my boy thats not cheap thats robbery lol
You forgot streecha! Cheap and yummy ukrainian food in east vill
wow we want to go eat so much
There was news about a kpop group joining military service so added two pillowcases with their picture on it in my shopping cart
Best area for cheap eats has got to be somewhere in Queens, Corona, Elmhurst, Jackson Heights or Flushing IMO. Not even close.
This stuff actually don’t look that cheap considering you’ll have to eat a few to get full
The party platter ill eat it by myself at a dimsum
I had an empty stomach. I didn't heed your caution. Amazing food.
This is all really nice, but what I cannot find in the videos are proposal of healthy, low carb food for a 240 pound man. Eating k-dogs and other crap like that is terrible for your health, plus it is not cheap 10$-20$ for a piece of dough with sugar is expensive. I would prefer a nice piece of meat instead with veggies. @Here - a brand new topic for you :)
Yeah
Go to don Emilio diner in bronx, vegetables and beef for good prices
You shouldn't need one of Jon's video's to tell you to eat vegetables with a meal. These are cheap eats places to be eaten at every know and again. You don't eat at them all the time. Is Jon Fat no. He is not a healthy eating video guy, although I ma sure he could do this too. Maybe he will.
@@johnoleary148 apologies, but still there are no videos on this topic. Many people would be interested in places that offer great value and proper balancing between health and taste. Emanuel mentioned one above. This is the topic I mentioned, it is not about anyone telling anyone to eat veggies or eat less saturated fat...
I love me some Ming big-time.
🙏
Thanks, such amazing food.
16 for ten dumpling. And you won’t even be full crazy
I have been warned damnn 😢
👀...👍🔥😎🔥👍
How do you stay healthy and don’t get kidney stones with all that sodium?
Asian food so delicious, I subscribe to a channel of an American living in Japan she just had a baby in a Japanese hospital, I watched her video of all the meals she was served in the hospital, breakfast, lunch, dinner, snacks for five days, the food looked so absolutely amazing, looked like food from a five star restaurant, even its' presentation was gorgeous, she said the food was so good
You were right to advise not to watch this when you're hungry. I didn't listen.
hahaha
How do you not weigh 300 pounds with all the great food you eat?
complaining about carbs and seeking protein is so pre 2020
"cheap" lol
the fritters may taste good but bad for you!🦑 🐙 🥟 , 🌽 🌭, not a fan! ❤️🩹🤮☠️
The rice filled 🍚 with salmon n tofu has a chance ...
I love traveling to other states and trying their foods. I really want to go to New York, but I just wouldn't feel safe. Crime is skyrocketing like crazy in NYC. My friend visited last month with one of her friends and they both got robbed on their first night. I will definitely visit New York once a Republican becomes a governor and clean the city up. Crime is the #1 priority in NY. Hopefully I'll be able to make a trip to the Big Apple one day.
Maybe use inexpensive or reasonable and not cheap
