Hi!, So I am in a CRICOS register course which is 104 weeks 16 units. However, because of granted qualifications, I am only doing 15 units. Doing simple maths if 16 units are equivalent to 104 weeks, 15 units should be equivalent to 97.5 weeks. According to the Post study requirements, 92 weeks is considered a 2-year program. Am I okay with only 15 units or I should do the 16 to be eligible for the 485 visa? Thank you!

Hi, as you don't have a student visa, I don't believe you will qualify for the grad visa.You would need to check if the course is registered to take on international students in order to apply for a student visa I would recommend booking in for a consult

I will be completing my degree in the UK early next year but every Australia visa i've reviewed generally requires 12 months post graduation work experience as part of the skilled assessment. I already have 5 years pre-graduation experience as a Quantity Surveyor, my degree has been retrospectively completed to assist with my migration plan as it is required as part of the skills assessment but they dismiss my previous experience resulting in delaying my migration by 12 months, Quantity Surveying is on the Medium Skilled Shortage list. The date your qualification received is the date you receive your certificate. The date your course is completed is the date you finish all assessment and know that you have passed.
My job is accountant ( general ) , I completed an accounting bachelor degree in Australia before 2010 , and then went back to my own country without applying the 485 visa, now if I go to Australia to study a 0.5 year postgraduate certificate of taxation / accounting or business , can I eligible for 485 visa?
Yes potentially, but I do not believe a post grad cert counts towards the 2 year study requirement. Potentially a masters qualification would be better

Hi, yes you can do the diploma of nursing (and become a qualified enrolled nurse). You would then get credit towards the bachelor of nursing. So you can work as an enrolled nurse on a student visa when you are studying.

For a VET course to be eligible for a 485 the course has to be at least 2 years and is for an occupation under the MLTSSL.

Hi mate, You don’t need to have actually received the provisional skills assessment. You just need to have applied for it.
