Rextroy continues to evolve into a full fledged raid boss. He even has mechanics now that those trying to kill him have to be aware of and execute......
*REXTROYER OF HORDE DBM * Phase1 Tactics: *Spam toad killer macro to prevent Rextroy from performing insane healing* /focus /target belly toad [noharm][dead] /cleartarget [dead] /cast judgment #or any instant damage spell such as moonfire /target focus *[Optional tips to make the fight easier] - Death grip him away from Consecration so he can't AOE* - Use AOE around him - CC chain: try to keep him stun-locked & silenced As for other spells (especially single target spells) that deal significant damage create a macro starting with to make sure it hits him instead the toad /targetenemyplayer #or /target Rextroy Phase2: Run back to your corpse, and try again...
Phase 1: Tank phase, damage reduction with massive AoE damage Phase 2: Starts sending invisble cats (they can only be visible by the marks they leave on the ground) and flying turkeys to OneShot people. Phase 3: the Toad Invasion, Rextroy dissapears for a moment, sending all his toads that he has in his arsenal. On Mythic, these toads will have 2 lifes being the first one like normal but the second one as a undead Toad with special abilities. Phase 4: Just tryhard, even greater and massive AoE Damage (like the Warlock video). DPS and HPS race. Enrage: all phases together (8 min timer) On Mythic: Enrage is not a timer but a Phase 5 There you go.
This is your final stand. What happens here will echo through the ages. Regardless of outcome, they will know that you fought with honor. That you fought for the freedom and safety of our people. Remember, hero, fear is your greatest enemy in this befouled Ogrimar. Steel your heart and your soul will shine brighter than a thousand suns. The enemy will falter at the sight of you. They will fall as the light of righteousness envelops them!
Rextroy the Paladin Phase 1: Rextroy will periodically spawn toads which he will use to leech back to full health. Kill toads as they spawn. Spread out to ensure you can get them all. Phase 2: Make sure you have mages to spam greater pyros or you're not killing him kek. Phase 3: Use mortal strike effects to reduce his healing Phase 4: A guardian spirit will grant Rextroy immunity. Put some form of cc on this.
Phase 5: he drops a legendary frog, legendary toad, and legendary picnic basket. The tank must loot the frog, and serve everyone tea, otherwise the boss gains stacks of caffeine withdrawal, increasing his damage. The DPS must loot the toad, and spam the /silly emote at the boss's toads, so they will cringe, pacifying them and making them untargetable. The healers must loot and deploy the picnic basket, which creates a gravity well of deliciousness, drawing the boss toward it, increasing his damage taken.
@@Killer4fun doing mechanics as a melee kills your dps, this is why i switched to a ranged class. Although my raid lead still griped at me for not doing enough damage because and i quote " you do the mechanics too well" so uh... thats a thing apparently
@@flamelash8668 That is actually a thing... doing mechanics "too well" such that it cripples your DPS. Check out Preach's video on exactly that. For example, when you're supposed to hide, hiding too early and losing 8 seconds of damage instead of 2 seconds. Moving in one sweeping motion instead of cleverly weaving movement into your rotation to get somewhere while still keeping uptime. I remember on Mekkatorque, some of our DPS had this exact issue. If you're confident at the mechanic, the next step is to turn around and figure out how to still do the mechanic, but maximize your output all the while. Not to say your raid leader wasn't just complaining to complain... but there's a chance he did have a point.

since the first time me playing paladin in wow (since BC 2007) i had a feeling that palas can do this( IMMORTAL PALAS), and u achieved it, it was my dream but all i could do stay alive for max 35-40 sec, you sir got my respect and my subscribe, thank you for making my experience worth it.
Makes me proud to still be Alliance when we have Rextroy defending our color's going into the heart of the enemy and showing what a badass he is. If you lead I will follow and overtake Orgrimmar for the alliance and then purge it.
That's the thing, if you practice...erm...creative use of game mechanics, you always have exciting content even when the developers aren't producing it.
I dont know man, looks like WoW to me. The people trying to kill him are playing WoW "base edition" and they seem to be having fun. Live and let live is my philosophy on judging these things. If you feel shitty about it there are other games out there!

You do remember them! Back in Legion I did a combination of items just so I could annoy people in capital cities and it worked wonders lol not at Rextroy's lvl but still required lots of people of have me killed lol.
This might be a bit shorter, however it was quite intense during the whole fight I could have done more retakes to have a longer one. However I thought all the commentary during the fight was quite fun so decided to keep this one :)
I know this the result of a bunch of exploits working together, but I genuinely think there should be in-game events like this where a player can become a walking monstrocity and the entire city has to work together to kill it. This just seems so fun to me and I wish I was there to witness it.
Some horde, Slugarush-Daggerspine, earned an achievement when they killed him :D I bet he is going to remember that achievement for the rest of his life :D

From the current developments it seems that change to builder-spender will make him killable for even shorter windows of time. Also blessed hammers lower ALL damage output which is super juicy. Kyrian covenant gives him AOE avenger's shield. Word of glory heals more the lower your HP. Also prot pally has beefier damage now AND an execute -20%hp. Hope BLizz wont break this. Chances are they won't cuz curses exist in their current form.

If you see something cool like this in game you see people spam "Hi asmonbald" and ect and i just feel like it takes away the flair, because asmons not the one doing the cool shit youre watching, it just feels disrespectful. And then asmongold catches wind of a cool wow video and then goes and reviews it and then people just recognize it from "that one asmongold stream" its dumb
