@Wid Eye Mick Adams seen him play against the kiwis a few times and the 84 cup I liked the O'Neil brothers and remember. Keith Elwell little fella played 9 I think this only on tv mind you team full of local boys is ok but the game was a better when alot of the kiwis and Aussies came over in 80s but alot were well passed their prime and were just after the money which was shit Kevin Tamati was good value but don't know if remember Noel Ceal and his big usless brother Les Ceal
@Wid Eye I hardly watch league anymore the game may be faster cleaner but it lost its working class man's game loved seeing the old grounds even if on tv England but even here in new Zealand we loved watching local football and nrl is boring now I just watch old videos and dream of yester year lol 😆
UK needs a State of Origin type of Championship - I also think Superleague should play some games in warmer climes in the winter to get them in better shape so we can take on the Aussies! Because the UK has such a cold crap climate we should have many games played (during the winter months) in places like Ibiza, Tenerife, Lanzarote (not too far away, but in warmer climates) and close enough for most to afford tickets/flights.Too many injuries caused by bad conditioning and cold!
