In the north (Porto) we have a middle size: "principe". So Small, Medium ,Large would be Fino, Principe, Caneca.

There's also a smaller size than "Fino" called "Lambreta", well at least here in Porto
You refer to the beers as "this guy" as in "how would you describe this guy". Wouod have been funny if he said "this girl" cerveja e uma mulher. 😂

Currently learning Spanish and wow! Portugués sounds so incredibly different compared to Spanish, yet the spelling is very similar.
Portuguese has more vowel sounds(Spanish 5, Portuguese 9+) and also some consonants sound different, like the J, G, V, B, Z, L and sometimes depending on the person/region the R. But on the other hand as you mentioned the spelling is very similar, these two language share more than 80% of the vocabulary. Good luck studying Spanish.

There's only one thing that's bothering me about this video: no one's wearing a mask, which is mandatory inside businesses. Be careful because it may be sending a wrong message to the foreign viewers about the Covid-19 rules in Portugal.
Everyone was wearing a mask, we only took them off to film at a social distance 🙏🏾 They were also closed at the time of filming. Safety first!

I came up with this myself as a joke, but don't know if it would be weird. Say you have been walking around Lisbon all day and are finally sitting down and are really in need of a beer. Is it ok to say:" estou a precisar de uma cerveja"?
I would say: "Preciso de uma cerveja."
That's a flawless way to say it. The shorter suggestion here works as well. And both versions are not weird at all. (I'm Portuguese btw).
I'm almost too ashamed to ask, but how would I find out if an establishment had low-alcohol or alcohol-free beer available?
