One of the scholars mentioned that the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said that Iman (faith) will remain in Sham. And he referred Syria, Palestine, Jordan, and Lebanon as the countries of Sham. I don't know how accurate that is. Seeing this brother's Iman reminded me of this. The greater one's Iman, the greater his test. There is another video I saw maybe two or three days ago where a Palestinian brother who is a Doctor searching for his son and when he found the body of his son he said "Alhamdulillah". May Allah almighty give us Iman like the Palestinians. May Allah give Palestine the ultimate victory. Ameen.
Allah is giving everyday my brother. Sometimes, we see things in front us as pain, but actually it is a relief. The best place for His true servants is to go back and be with his Creator. We the ones that are living still have to struggle, but the ones that passed away are already being taking care of by Allah. May the Mercy of Allah be upon them all. Ameen....

The bigger question is, when will the believers return to goodness and righteousness? Nothing can delay and halt the help of Allah but are we really willing to attain it? What does Allah say? He says as long as the people do not change for better, Allah will not change the circumstances out of our control either. Allah does not send blessings to those who do it's opposite. Basically when you are sinning, you are making the Angels go away from you. That's only one example. Allah sends Angels in our lives for our protection against the darkness and evil beings..By sinning you are depriving yourself from goodness.

Allaah may test some of His slaves, so that they may attain the reward of the patient, and thus be raised in status. Al-Tirmidhi (2398) narrated that Sa’d ibn Abi Waqqaas (may Allaah be pleased with him) said: I said: “O Messenger of Allaah, which of the people are most sorely tested?” He said: “The Prophets, then the next best and the next best. A man will be tested in accordance with his level of religious commitment. If his religious commitment is strong, he will be tested more severely, and if his religious commitment is weak, he will be tested in accordance with his religious commitment. Calamity will keep befalling a person until he walks on the earth with no sin on him.” Classed assaheeh by al-Albaani in al-Silsilah al-Saheehah, 143.
They are giving their dues and then keeping their conviction to Allah. And being ikhlas of losing their loved ones or being called to the martyrdom. I am afraid for us who are watching these videos. Are doing what we are suppose to be doing? Is this the most that I can do? Should I do more. I am afraid Allah will call me for this in the judgement day because of my inaction.
