16 साल तक किया इंतजार पर गाना नहीं हो पाया तैयार, फिर लगानी पडी जुगाड़!

मशहूर संगीतकार मदन मोहन ने इस गीत की धुन 1946 में ही बनाकर तैयार कर ली थी लेकिन उन्हें इस धुन के लिए बोल नहीं मिल रहे थे। फिल्म वो कौन थी में उन्हें ये मौका मिला और उन्होंने गीतकार राजा मेहंदी अली खान से इस धुन पर ये गीत लिखवा लिया लेकिन जब शूटिंग की बारी आई तो लता जी को इसे गाने का टाइम नहीं मिल पा रहा था ऐसे में मदन मोहन ने ऐसी जुगाड़ लगाई कि सब वाह वाह कर उठे।
Famous musician Madan Mohan had composed the tune of this song in 1946 itself but he was not able to get the lyrics for this tune. She got this opportunity in the film Woh Kaun Thi and she got this song written on this tune by lyricist Raja Mehndi Ali Khan, but when it came to shooting, Lata ji was not able to get time to sing it, so Madan Mohan made such a solution. I felt that everyone started cheering.
