Ok so I purchased the Kenmore after using Bissell’s little green machine for probably close to 20 years and I probably went through about seven or eight machines. So I was REALLY excited to try a different brand. The motor is powerful, therefore, the suction is powerful. That means it takes less time to clean. The machine itself is easy the clean out, as is the brush. The only challenging part to clean is the dirty water container intake opening, but it can be done, and at least you can get inside the container to clean it.
The removable brush shield is Handy because Hair and gunk get stuck up in that area so to be able to remove it is a very nice feature. The spray is broader, maybe 1/5th more powerful than Bissell sprayer, but the Kenmore has 2 brushes, one large and one smaller. The smaller one I would use for just a regular little mess. The larger one I would use if say, my cats knocked over my iced coffee. 🤣 It’s nice to have the larger brush option. I haven’t used it in my car, but that’s some thing I plan to use it for. Over all, I like the Kenmore better. 30% better. AND it wasn’t as expensive as some of the other Upgraded versions of the Bissell cleaning machine, which might cone closer to the Kenmore’s suction power. So, win, win. It pays to shop around. We had the Bissell and it did great but that clear plastic part on the brush gets nasty and it's near impossible to clean it. The fact the Kenmore head comes apart and you can get down inside the dirty water tank to clean it is a great selling point. I'd definitely go for the Kenmore.
Thank you for this comparison! I’ve used Bissell for years, I probably use a pet cleaner on average…two times a week because I have an elderly cat that has accidents.
My personal preference is to have a decent sprayer, a strong spraying mechanism. I found sometimes the sprayer would just decrease or somehow get clogged and not spray ample spray or stop all together. Today it just went kaput. No motor function.
I don’t know if you remember, but I think it was in Roosevelts era they made an agreement with manufacturers to create products that would break within a few years so we have become this throwaway society where we waste money, we fill our landfills to the gills ,in large part because of mental conditioning ( buy, buy, buy) but also because products are actually designed to break. Do you remember back in the 50s? US products were sought after because they were built with quality, and stood the test of time. My mother-in-law had a toaster and a bunch of mechanical things that still worked just as well in the year 2019 they did in the 50s. No more! Those days are gone.
I’m not trying to attack Bissell, but on Amazon you’re scrolling through and it’s Bissel, bisselI bissel. I don’t know if they pay extra to have their name come up like they’re the only option or if they use special key words but isn’t the idea to have a variety of options to choose from, and not monopolies ?
Just saying. The average life of a Bissell spot carpet cleaner I have found is 3 to 5 years at the very best.
So I’m actually excited to try this other option -the Kenmore. I also watched your review with the Hoover. Spot vac. I am opting for the Kenmore bc
I like the strong motor, the stronger suction, the robust sprayer, the removable clear portion of the sprayer head ( you can clean it properly) the containers capacity, bc you have to constantly refill them with the Bissell.
Also, recently, a liquid laundry detergent container apparently had a hole in it that I had no idea. Was there over the course of the last two months the entire contents spilled into my garage. ( nightmare) it got all over objects I had on the floor of my garage. Obviously, I had to scrape it up with a tool and then I put vinegar on it and tried to wipe it up more with paper towels because I knew I would be there forever with my little green machine, otherwise. I had to empty the container four times, while trying to suck up as much of the remaining soap film. There is still soap on the garage floor but at least it doesn’t transfer to the other items I have on the floor.
Your review helped me make a purchase decision. I am also an underdog supporter so I like supporting companies that don’t try and push out all other competition. So I will let you know how I like the Kenmore. I know it will get a lot of use! 🙏🙏🙏

i got a good little battle suggestion that you can do , Do SHARK stain striker little machine vs kenmore spot cleaner both are great machines but was wondering which one is better but from this video and specs of how kenmore is more powerful i am going with kenmore plus its on sale for $107 on a site but still interested on how it compares to sharks version of their mini spot cleaner

Kenmore, but it is a little heavier than the hart if size and weight is an issue then the hart if you want more suction and cleaning then Kenmore

All the cleaner head on the bissell does is allow you to self suck the cleaning solution.
You could easily just have a hot bowl of water with or without the solution to do the same thing without adding to the cost of the unit.
