It's always little risky to measure current .. Newbies always make these mistakes ,like someone commented on the channel that he tried to measure the current of mains ,and he connected both probes to 220V AC mains and his multimeter smoked.... Nowadays most mutimeters use big ICs so, if something wrong happens it mostly hurts the IC itself. Because ICs cannot be repaired it's hard to repair multimeters. Well, small problems can be fixed like loose rotary switch, blown fuses etc. Thank for watching.
Current measuring is really a difficult task and dangerous too. So, in clear words I have explained that when you put your multimeter in current measurement mode the probes are like short circuit. BC548 is a NPN transistor and you are placing it in PNP ports so, how would you get correct readings? Please do not share wrong information if you are not sure for it or if you dont know about it.
Yes, you are right BC546/7/8 are NPN transistors. The problem started when I placed the transistor in wrong socket but even though it was giving me numbers. So you can't trust on these multimeters at lest for transistor testing. So , it kind of confused me about the family of the transistor. Han bilkul, jitna bhi voltage napna hai usse jada ke range me set kar ke naap sakte hain. Lekin agar aap 600v ya 1000v pe lagaoge to sirf 1v likh ke aayega but 20v pe 1.5 vo aayega to range kam se kam rakhni chaiye. But jo voltage naapna hai use jada ki range honi chaiye. Thanks a lot for watching.

I'm sorry , actually you can't measure it with any multimeter. Your multimeter should have a capacitance measure mode to measure capacitance...
