Carving Mt. Katahdin in Under 5 Minutes

This is a condensed video that takes out the technical side of things and shows the carving of Mt. Katahdin. I carved it out out of 3” African Mahogany in under 5 minutes!!! Sike, it took about 9 hours using my X-Carve.
I love the Appalachian Trail and everything about it. One day, I hope to attempt a thru-hike from Springer Mountain to Mt. Katahdin. Ever since purchasing my cnc machine, I wanted to replicate this mountain. I finally learned how to do it.
I used my X-Carve cnc router and Vectric Vcarve Pro to import the stl file from touchterrain.g.... to create this model.
