It's sad because the girl did lose her parents. Her aunt, the woman near the end, is a chef and was making her all these complex dishes that the girl didn’t want. The guy figured out that she probably just wanted something simple and made the pasta dish on a hunch if I remember correctly.
This man gotta get a raise since how he helped a kid since the kid stop eating when her parents died it might be years week or even a long period of time
A child is still human. Remember when you're a child. See what he did. He helped her without anyone asking. That's pure kindness. Was pure, the girl heard it. Brought 2 forks, showing that if she wants it, she can eat it or not. Giving her the freedom. Showing her it is safe to eat by eating himself and going back to work. An honest and loving man.
When bad things happend, some people think they should feel sorrow and be destoyed because of it. But does your loved one think so too? Life doesn't end, it's like a river, flows heart to heart until get to the ocean where we meet again. Whomever lost someone, I am really sorry but it's ok. You deserve happy day.
I think that beside the obvious cuteness of the scene, what makes it stand out is the fact that it's happening inside a restaurant's kitchen, which is usually a very harsh place
If they’re not ill, and not neurodivergent, and not upset, and … actually there’s many caveats on why a kid won’t eat, even if hungry. A kid with autism may not eat certain foods because of texture. The texture can be more uncomfortable than the hunger. Or a kid with allergies may be in more pain after eating. A sick kid may feel hangry and sick but may not eat cause their throat is sore or something. Some kids will starve themselves.
Thats not true. If you quitt eating for a longer time, you loose your feeling of hunger... so you have to find out the reason why the child doesn't eat
He made eating a way to socialize with her which is what she needed to bring her back down to earth from wherever she was at. She then began to eat because she felt supported.
The way he did this was the right way he didint force her or show aggression he gave her the choice to eat and didint get mad when she was eating instead he said "save some for me" showing that he was allowing her to eat the food and she gave him a smile showing comfort and when he was eating he said "good" showing he liked the food encouraging her to eat without making it obvious
Dayum, couldn't help but cry about this scene because when I was 14Years Old; my mother left me and my step father which he died on 2016 from lung bubbles. Everyone I new took good care of me until I can live on my own.😢
My mom who was single at the time when I was at the age of 1-9 has this movie on dvd and other romance movies, this movie really captures the relationship between me and my stepdad. She's happy to have finally found a good husband and father for her daughter ❤
Why do i find the Innocence in children so moving? I dont even know this girl's situation not have i seen the movie but the simple strategic move to let her choose to try it bc he made it look good. I cant lie i just shed a single tear watching this
reminds me of this one baby i used to teach how to swim ( 3years) , he refused to eat bc his mom died so during our lessons we'd mostly take it easy and play. it was mothers day and his dad was working so our staff team decided to be with all the kids whose parent's couldn't go. i was there for that baby and we moslty just sat in the shade and i just held him. comes time to eat and he obviously isnt hearing it so i just started to hum with his lunch box left open in his reach for if he changed his mind. a few minutes later and he starts to hum with me which was wild bc he's on the spectrum and moslty non-verbal and would moslty grunt and sigh for attention, a silent cryer too he was so quiet when he cried. anyway he's humming with me and he grabs his sammy and starts to slowly eat. small bites but he finshed all his food and juice all while humming. i think about him a lot and i hope he's okay and happy.
This scene warms my heart so much because my son loves it when I make spaghetti. For a while, he refused to eat anything, then one day we did spaghetti, and ever since then, he's loved it ❤
The fact he didnt reward her with a cheer was key. Just let her be with her food and her choice to eat it. Also maybe its just me, but seeing a unhappy kid eat makes me feel like i could cry.

It's sad because the girl did lose her parents. Her aunt, the woman near the end, is a chef and was making her all these complex dishes that the girl didn’t want. The guy figured out that she probably just wanted something simple and made the pasta dish on a hunch if I remember correctly.
Catherine Zeta Jones Douglas...The woman
Look it’s the superhero with the tragic backstory
This man gotta get a raise since how he helped a kid since the kid stop eating when her parents died it might be years week or even a long period of time
How do you break somebody's heart that is adorable!.
She deserves the kindness and love of her parents
Umm idk if i didn't catch it or you want to tell a joke😅(her parent die)
Her mom dies..in a car accident that she was also in...no dad in the picture
All it takes is taking one small moment to help others to help this whole world go round this brings faith to humanity
Moments like these in movies depicts what cinema really is about
Omg that girl is in greys anatomy too (with a small part) were she can’t feel pain
Really good actor 😊❤❤❤
Movie name: no reservations, pretty good movie
Aaron Eckhart is an excellent actor
He was very genuine about helping her. He definitely was not two-faced.
Catherine has always and still so beautiful
She is so stunningly beautiful, a freakin angel… Especially in the Zorro movies.. dont know how the frick Michael Douglas got her..
She's absolutely gorgeous ❤
When bad things happend, some people think they should feel sorrow and be destoyed because of it. But does your loved one think so too?
Life doesn't end, it's like a river, flows heart to heart until get to the ocean where we meet again.
Whomever lost someone, I am really sorry but it's ok.
You deserve happy day.
Lovely words and thoughts,
He so nice God bless him🥰💗
This is awesome to see bc it’s my best friends b-day and she moved away 2 years ago and I was upset all day

She almost smiled when he said “save some for me”, that’s quality acting 🎉
I think that beside the obvious cuteness of the scene, what makes it stand out is the fact that it's happening inside a restaurant's kitchen, which is usually a very harsh place
What show is this? I need to watch it!
No Reservations (2007)
@@alejandropacheco7832 I watched it and the movie was amazing! Thanks for telling me! ☺️
Borrow from the local library. If they don't have it in hand they can order it in.
This just shows, sometimes it takes sitting down with someone to make them feel welcomed
Alternate scene: he breaks out a box of pop tarts!!
Little girls should be loved, protected, and doted over. I absolutely love this scene.
When the children are hungry enough, they will eat.
@@laurens3857 obviously.
I wasn’t referring to autistic/mentally challenged children.
Thats not true. If you quitt eating for a longer time, you loose your feeling of hunger... so you have to find out the reason why the child doesn't eat
I love how her eyes said thank you.
He made eating a way to socialize with her which is what she needed to bring her back down to earth from wherever she was at. She then began to eat because she felt supported.
Movie name..?
No Reservations. One of my favorite movies :)
@@samilynn26 oh my !! Thank you!!
How do we all have the same "You're welcome" or "don't mention it" bow? Lol
Never thought the 2 Face has a 3rd Face to be a Chief 😂😂😂
Abigail Breslin is such an amazing actress. And every time I see this clip I tear up.
Abigail Breslin is an incredible actress. Shes so good.
Dayum, couldn't help but cry about this scene because when I was 14Years Old; my mother left me and my step father which he died on 2016 from lung bubbles. Everyone I new took good care of me until I can live on my own.😢
Giving her the idea instead of forcing her to eat is genius
She had that smile of "you are getting non of this but thank you"
My mom who was single at the time when I was at the age of 1-9 has this movie on dvd and other romance movies, this movie really captures the relationship between me and my stepdad. She's happy to have finally found a good husband and father for her daughter ❤
Why do i find the Innocence in children so moving? I dont even know this girl's situation not have i seen the movie but the simple strategic move to let her choose to try it bc he made it look good. I cant lie i just shed a single tear watching this
The movie title is
No Reservation
Cooking is its own language. Eating speaks levels. And the smile at the end, shows approval and support. I must watch this movie now!
Why did this make me tear up,like I’m about to cry rn
Eckhart is probably the most underrated actor of our time.
Harvey Dent ended becoming a professional chef
Sad part is that irl there are children that are going through this and some aren’t getting help.☹️
I never noticed it the first time but I noticed it now, the fact that he had another fork for the kid shows how aware he is
He looks good with that haircut. Dreamy, I wish I looked like that.
reminds me of this one baby i used to teach how to swim ( 3years) , he refused to eat bc his mom died so during our lessons we'd mostly take it easy and play. it was mothers day and his dad was working so our staff team decided to be with all the kids whose parent's couldn't go. i was there for that baby and we moslty just sat in the shade and i just held him. comes time to eat and he obviously isnt hearing it so i just started to hum with his lunch box left open in his reach for if he changed his mind. a few minutes later and he starts to hum with me which was wild bc he's on the spectrum and moslty non-verbal and would moslty grunt and sigh for attention, a silent cryer too he was so quiet when he cried. anyway he's humming with me and he grabs his sammy and starts to slowly eat. small bites but he finshed all his food and juice all while humming. i think about him a lot and i hope he's okay and happy.
CZJ's subtle, phenomenal acting, take a bow CZJ.
This scene warms my heart so much because my son loves it when I make spaghetti. For a while, he refused to eat anything, then one day we did spaghetti, and ever since then, he's loved it ❤
You have GIVE off a positive vibe for children to embrace you😮
The fact he didnt reward her with a cheer was key. Just let her be with her food and her choice to eat it.
Also maybe its just me, but seeing a unhappy kid eat makes me feel like i could cry.
It’s the “save some for me” that got me…
Abigail was such a good lil actress
