How you gonna support the game not being balanced, then complain about seeing notning but Gogeta and Vegito in the upper ranks? Like, honestly, what did you expect?
Been playing street fighter 6 for a year. I never heard of the rule to stay on the same character. I don't understand why that would be a rule... Also he probably will get good at sparking zero. His ego cracked a bit now but he has the mindset to improve if we look at his fighterz performance.
It's partly a hold over from the arcade era where the games didn't allow the winner to choose again, and it also fits tournaments well because it helps avoid the need for constant blind picks in games that are more matchup heavy. Like imagine you have an older FG with lesser balance, and you have even just 3 characters that basically form a rock paper scissors triangle...let's say Gief beats cammy, cammy beats Sim, Sim beats Gief for example. If winner could switch characters, you could end up having the two players just re-selecting and backing out repeatedly on the character select screen to avoid the bad matchup. And that still happens occasionally even from the first match when you have multi-character specialists, so they can ask the bracket runner for a blind pick. Winner stays locked in can help avoid it a bit. But yeah, there'd be no reason at all for players to know that typical rule unless they frequently do tournies.
Ive been seein a lot of dbfz content and talk ever since sparking zero released. Maybe i should get back into it, havent played since sometime after base goku and vegeta dropped. Lmfao bro i like how every single time some bigger name dude gets embarrassed they start crying about death threats. "Someone showed me guns" yeah bro im sure someone about to go hunt you down cause you lost a match of sparking zero how does that even make sense
The whole pick the same character thing isn’t even that important in sparking zero, in traditional fighters the matchups mean much more and improving your knowledge can be the difference in a rematch but in sparking zero it’s not like characters frames matter that much, some have different combos sure and if they’re different types entirely like giant character vs regular then it matters some but if someone picks base goku and then swaps to ssj in the rematch I’m not gonna lose my mind😂
@@RealMikeHollow lmaooo okay that’s different that’s part of the exceptions, but I’d allow some. but in a money match like this then you gotta use official fighting game rules 🤣

i know right but i do commend 2d fighter players for going into the trenches and playing other fighter games. because i know for a fact arena fighter players wouldnt come to our turf. everybody scared to pick up the sticks when it come to traditional fighters though.
@@gemslion2966 bro don't get it twisted I'm in fear of going in ranked right now 🤣. Just figured out aswell its better to long press super counters/perception and be patient rather than tryna get moves out quickly n spamming like u would in tekken. Ish got 100 times easier with just that knowledge alone.
I'm a terrible teacher 😂 Perfect Legend is doing some awesome guides and tips on the game though. For me, I kinda just go in blind on any game whatever genre it is and learn from the ground up. First thing I did was make sure Cell and Vegeta were as I remember them. Vegeta wasn't but Cell was so I stuck there. I wanted a character with a gut punch stun, rolling hammer and the face kicks. Cell has all of those. If you're new to the series and don't know what any of that means, just pick whoever you like and try to string things together with them. You can get pretty creative in this game. Again, I am so bad at giving advice and teaching 😂
Perfect Form Cell (not "Perfect" with the lightning aura) was considered the best character in BT3, and nothing about him seems different in this game. So I'd honestly suggest playing him to learn the game. He's got Afterimage (auto-Vanish), Explosive Wave (basically a Burst), and Perfect Barrier as an Ult (Super Explosive Wave moves are good because they require multiple vanishes to avoid if you're in a position when you can't Guard). Really good tools to have on a character. Mechanics you wanna practice are Vanishes and Super Counters (Parries). Those are going to be your main forms of defense. Those and Sonic Sway. Beyond that, get used to sidestepping to get around your opponent's Rush string and shooting Ki Blasts to check your opponent at a distance or even up close (punish Sonic Sway attempts). Also look at your Rush String Enders so you can practice utilizing those, particularly look for Rolling Hammer (forces turnaround), Heavy Blow (stun), I believe Kiai Attack and Blaster Wave (I believe those are unblockable), and whatever your 1st Rush Ender is. Everyone's got different Enders, and even characters that share enders may have them in different parts of their Rush string.
It's dumbed down compared to BT3? Makes me even more excited to play it. SZ runs like trash on my PC. So there's no other way than going through BT1-3 for now. It'd be nice if the netplay scene for these games was still strong, though.
when people say this game isn't "good" cause its not "competetive", I just think: By this metric, every game in the BT series was never perfect. And they never were. They didn’t sit down and think about s and inputs, let alone the game being remotely competitive. It was a game designed to emulate the series so closely in a 1 v. 1 setting. It was a happy accident that it gained the traction that it did. The only reason everyone is up in arms is because, now, there is a brewing competitive scene that includes folks from various different games hailing from genres that counter the fighting scene altogether. Of which, everyone could easily sit down and crank out a few wins with putting in the least amount of effort possible. Does the game have bugs? Absolutely. Do they need to fix these bugs? 100% But what casual and “pro players” who have followed the series need to realize is, no matter how you look at it, what you said, or what you expected, this is the game you wanted*. And the fact that people are complaining about characters and features that had already existed in previous games, is so beyond asinine that that I’d much rather the game not exist at all because it’s gotten to the point where everyone, overnight, became an armchair elitist who hit Z in a matter of 24 hours over a game that the VAST MAJORITY have never even played before. I was there, bleeding thumbs and all, playing BT religiously just like everyone else. Played with my friends all the same. We shared the same passion and understanding on what characters were broken and how to counter them alongside seemingly un-winnable situations. But mechanically and graphically, it’s the same damn game and I’m tired of everyone pretending that it isn’t. The only part of this statement I agree with is the fact that the game needs polishing when it comes to technical issues: incorrect response times to inputs, camera function and collision, completely negated features mid-match. Yes, these all need to be fixed, but saying that the SAME FEATURES that functioned near-identical to previous games, and in some cases were improved on, are “too strong” is an opinion I can’t respect. It all boils down to getting good, and absolutely no one cares to admit that, let alone wants to put in the effort to do so. Because once these issues are patched, everyone and their mother will find something else to complain about to the point where everything we originally wanted in the game will be changed irrevocably and all of this will be a grand waste of time. Super Smash Bros Melee, different game and mechanics altogether, became a competitive game on accident. Their “best character” has been the best character for over 20 fucking years. Time and time again, that character has been beaten countless times with others that weren’t even “meta.” But did they ever receive a single patch? Lol, no. But no, let’s listen to a tilted “pro-player’s” opinion and refuse to think for ourselves.
I come from DBZ kakarot so when I went online I thought I was gonna cook I got humbled quick you definitely can't go in this game mashing you gonna get humbled 😂
I mainly run a meta slave team , but I have been having fun with meta cooler and broly with any 3dp character and it’s rewarding to take down the bs I’ve been handing out 😂
Look not all of us are bad🤣 I play base gogeta (broly movie) because he's my favorite character (cool character) and my playstyle revolves around STRAIGHT HANDS. I also hate it when i go against ssj4 gogetas and super vegito since players that use them either get free sparking (awoken skill) to spam ult or spam afterimage. I might be odd one out but from d5 all the way to a5 i rarely ever used an ult and thats in dp because in single battle (EVEN more annoying) i ONLY used an ult like once or twice during my entire run to s5 and TRUST me i had to deal with everything everyone else dealt with (everything you mentioned about fusions and unblockable ults are a bitch too). It just goes to show not all of us are bad, its just ssj4 gogetas and super vegitos and MAYBE keflas (that ULT IS ANNOYING). Whats crazy is i didn't even know base gogeta had an awoken skill (until like A3 or A2) to give him sparking cause i NEVER used it, Oh and much love mike👍
I don't get why anyone would think they'd crush going from one fighting game format to another automatically. Just adding a third dimension in Tekken breaks my brain. Hikari is good but he's mad carried by his team it's the most boring thing in the world to watch him play.
Not changing the character depends on the specific tournament not it just being a fighting game unless this was a set. Correct me if I'm wrong. Guy is sounding a bit too mad.
I think it can work competitively. I'm gonna start hosting tournaments for it. I do think adjustments need to be made in the rules because the DP system doesn't do a good enough job, but I've done a few tournaments for it and it's Hella fun. It's just not like the traditional tournament circuit games we're used to seeing but that's fine by me. It can do it's own thing. Ain't gotta be like everything else.
Headcanon: Hikari's hyperbolic reaction is staged... a clever social experiment designed to convince people to bring Sparking Zero to Evo because the audience loves upsets. In reality, he's better at the game than he wants us to believe.
I honestly don’t see the big deal in quitting a match. Even if its a pro player, this game is filled with BS and its not hard to see a “pro” or pretty good player lose to someone who is not good and just cheesing. Im no pro but i also quit
It's just annoying for the other person cos it wastes both of our time. If you think it's a BS game, why even play it to begin with? Also in ranked, we don't get awarded points when you quit so it's doubly annoying 😂

The nostalgia is gone for me and everyone on the game just button mashes, run away and to get ultimate, 1000 ki blasts, perception with the tap of one button, one super and ultimate from SSJ4 gogeta and you’re dead. I’ve stuck to playing in lobbies with friends. Those ranked players are disgusting🤢
Yea that's you, a lot of people absolutely love the game. You like FighterZ, cool. No one gives a fuck. You like sparking zero, cool. No one gives a fuck. It's a game, not a job, not a chore. It's a game FOR Entertttttaaaaiiiiiinnnnnmmment. All the "controversy" is bunch of mentally ill fugs throwing a tantrum like a toddler in a store
FighterZ ISN'T the better game, just coz you like it more... one is a 2.5D comp fighter and the other is a 3D arena fighter bordering on being a DB sim...
two completely different genres... don't understand why y'all so obsessed with comparing the two
(also FighterZ is a horrible DB game lmfao, but a good fighter)
He may have won Evo. But Sparking is further beyond. He learned that the hard way.
Further beyond than evo? I love sparking but naw, dude just thought it was gonna be easy.

I was flabbergasted 😂
I see it as an Ego trip crash out. This Hikari dude came into Sparking Zero, thinking it's not a "real fighter", believing this is an easy dub. Got bodied and pulled a LowTierGod.
It’s such a fallacy to think this….” Real fighter” means a game where most situations should have some counterplay. These arena fighters and kosuge anime fighters are notorious for letting people get a away with obnoxious murder
I feel the same way about TEKKEN 8's ranked. Just started playing ranked again, made it to the God ranks and all I'm facing are armor spamming King players and shin slapping Dragonov's. Annoying
Waiting for someone to say skill issue lol. The armor spamming is just sad in T8
@@ultra_combo9218 tell me about it. But I think I'm in the majority when complaining about the armor spam. Besides, I'm in the God ranks now, skill really isn't an issue
even in lower ranks, i just run Spopa, roshi, videl, bardok(or turles) and gokuB.
i've been walkin over the fusions XD
i've had a few players be able to out sustain me cuz they also had a full comp, but most fusion players really just dont know the game that well yet
I've been in the fgc for nearly 20 years and i've never known how memeable Hikari is 😂
How you gonna support the game not being balanced, then complain about seeing notning but Gogeta and Vegito in the upper ranks? Like, honestly, what did you expect?
this honestly sounds like a sill issue🤣
It is 😂
bro though this was a skill based game
Being a shameless scrub is a skill
Been playing street fighter 6 for a year. I never heard of the rule to stay on the same character. I don't understand why that would be a rule...
Also he probably will get good at sparking zero. His ego cracked a bit now but he has the mindset to improve if we look at his fighterz performance.
Definitely. Just takes a little time and patience.
In the Arcade when you won only the opponent could choose their character
This dude is exactly how the community be acting rn lmfao
The whole pick the same character thing isn’t even that important in sparking zero, in traditional fighters the matchups mean much more and improving your knowledge can be the difference in a rematch but in sparking zero it’s not like characters frames matter that much, some have different combos sure and if they’re different types entirely like giant character vs regular then it matters some but if someone picks base goku and then swaps to ssj in the rematch I’m not gonna lose my mind😂
@@mnonodzilala8508 If someone switches from Saibaman and goes to SSJ4 Goku I will 100% tell them to not do that 😂😂
@@RealMikeHollow lmaooo okay that’s different that’s part of the exceptions, but I’d allow some. but in a money match like this then you gotta use official fighting game rules 🤣

My biggest problem with fighting games is that I don't understand how to get better. I want to play them so bad but I get overwhelmed and anxious cause i don't know how to improve. Or more specifically the order of operations to get better. Maybe you could do a video about something like that?
Do you have any friends you can play offline with?

i know right but i do commend 2d fighter players for going into the trenches and playing other fighter games. because i know for a fact arena fighter players wouldnt come to our turf. everybody scared to pick up the sticks when it come to traditional fighters though.

Ahh that discount is only applied for PC and Xbox. Gonna have to wait until Black Friday for a good discount
I want to get into sparking cause I love dragon ball. What tips would you give me cause I’m obviously moving from traditional fighting games to arena
@@RealMikeHollow nah all good man. Thanks anyway I’ll check this perfect legend out
Perfect Form Cell (not "Perfect" with the lightning aura) was considered the best character in BT3, and nothing about him seems different in this game.
It'd be nice if the netplay scene for these games was still strong, though.
put some change in my guy pockets asap...awesome vid my guy
Thank you, sir 🙏🏾
when people say this game isn't "good" cause its not "competetive", I just think:
By this metric, every game in the BT series was never perfect.
But what casual and “pro players” who have followed the series need to realize is, no matter how you look at it, what you said, or what you expected, this is the game you wanted*.
Time and time again, that character has been beaten countless times with others that weren’t even “meta.”
But did they ever receive a single patch? Lol, no.
But no, let’s listen to a tilted “pro-player’s” opinion and refuse to think for ourselves.
Why was Mike Tyson talking to the unhinged streamer?
I come from DBZ kakarot so when I went online I thought I was gonna cook I got humbled quick you definitely can't go in this game mashing you gonna get humbled 😂

I mainly run a meta slave team , but I have been having fun with meta cooler and broly with any 3dp character and it’s rewarding to take down the bs I’ve been handing out 😂
So what you're saying is you spam super vegito's afterimage strike.
At that point im picking a new character every time just to spite him.

The game is not good competitively, thats the point, we're now realizing it, how mfs could bet money on this game at all is beyond me
I think it can work competitively.
