I tried to be an animator of Laika's Oscar-nominated Missing Link

Hillsboro-based stop motion animation studio, Laika, is nominated for an Oscar! The studio's latest film, Missing Link, is up for Best Animated Feature. Laika has been nominated in this category before, but hasn't won it yet. Cassidy Quinn got to go behind the scenes to help animate a few frames of Mr. Link, the sasquatch character in the film. Turns out, animating one frame of stop motion is DIFFICULT.
