I use double Grand sword for this fight too , I can totally relate to each move you made It is just pure crazy that Elianne has really high HP pool with multiple summon attacks and healing mechanics on top of being fast ,but incredibly fun to fight

But adding on top of that tons of hp makes this fight a tedious, tiresome fight. Just like the whole game in ng+

She folded faster than superman on washing day with co-op…. Apparently umbral magic nails her pretty good (my co-op buddy nailed her with umbral while my infernal build distracted her with melee)
Im suprised that im not the only one stuck at her on ng+ lol most guides i saw here on yt is ng0 in where she have like 1/4 of her health compares to ng +
Im on NG+1 and i ve been stuck on this boss for a week now and the worst thing is i already killed Gerlinde the black smith so i can't upgrade any other swords to try and change the build , Cant respec because pieta is no longer available, i dont know what to do , its frustrating. i ve been trying to beckon players but we all seem to die easily.
You have to learn the boss patterns and play as defensively as possible, only hitting when you know you are not going to receive damage or at least very little damage.
Bro when I was fighting I thinking the same thing but yeah in the end it was all learning the timings although not being able to respec or change weapons to alleviate any difficulty from a non compatible playstyle sucked
SAME. I’m an inferno build too on NG+. I’ve used ring that allows umbral magic so poison weapon/cloud is the only way I even get close. Blacksmith dead… didn’t know you could give tablet to other guy so you don’t lose upgrades
I heard they did an update to the game, did they end up reducing the boss's hp pools in ng+? I'm currently fighting this boss in ng+1 on the old version of the game and I really wish they had less hp. Closest I've gotten was around 25% hp and even that took me 15 minutes. Would you say that this is the hardest boss in the game? For me it feels like it, but that could be because I didn't already know how to beat it from the base game so this ng+ version of it is my first time fighting it. Also, I'm using dual long swords and after seeing your run I'm realizing that the extra speed you get from using them is not worth it compared to the extra damage from dual grand swords like you. I still only do like 20% less damage than you, but I don't really get any opportunities to do an extra hit like you would expect with a quicker weapon so it doesn't really work out.

Tedious fight. This is what sepparates the amateurs from pros. And Im speaking here about FromSoftware. They are fucking untouchable. On the other hand, lets add millions of hp to bosses in ng+ lotf and call our game hard. Proud.
I used two Harrower Dervla (not sure on spelling) grand swords at plus 10 each with an increased strength scaling rune , and an increased damage with dual wielding rune. One had on the crafters essence and the other has on more posture damage. My range is throwing hand with the enhanced lump hammer as the far right equip, the middle is enhanced cursed dart, and left is corrupted banner javelin. My armor is Vanguard helm, the chest is the Sovereign protector Armour, hands are holy bulwark gauntlets, and light reaper leggings, I have on warriors claw as my pendant, and my rings are ring of bones and luccent sword ring. My stats are roughly 75 strength, 56 dex, 50 endurance, 50 Vitality, 9 radiance, 9 inferno

@@vincenzo4314bout and hour the L1+R2 attack stuns him regularly and even out of most attacks save for the jumping ones since it misses with the final slam but the fight itself was around 15 mins probably too they really fucked up with health pools in NG+

The fight was so stressful for on NG plus that I had to uninstalled temporarily. This fight was not fun for me lol, this made me go bananas 🍌

@@karubottlefingers even that might not be enough. They get an HP boost when you summon help, so your part er really has to pull their weight.

They made her TOO OP on ng+ . It’s ridiculous & pissing me off . Level 260 and barely even doing any damage . And she can kill you in two hits
I gave up and turned off ps5. On ng++ this is just mayhem. I will probably come back and die a million times but eventually i will trimuph!

Hard agree but they’ve lowered health in recent patches and now even on NG+2 with aggressive play it’s around 5-7

Very impressive , 15 mn for a bossfight . Insanely long but you fought amazingly .
