    My daycare teacher once allowed a kid to sit on my face with a pillow while I was napping. She tried to have me suffocated! Thankfully another teacher stopped it and I am alive.

    In my opinion in real life the teacher would have been fired and shamed out of town for tormenting a kid that's not his.

    I had teachers like that all throughout middle and high school through the 80's. The difference is, if we'd said anything no one would have done anything. They couldn't do anything back then. The horrible torment i suffered in those years whipped the love of learning right out of me. By the time i graduated high school they couldn't have paid me to further my education. I was done.

    My elementary teacher was my bully, too. She hated me because I stood up for another student she hit on the head once. She never physically touched me but the insulted and tried to embarrass me whenever she could. She encouraged my classmates to bully me by favouring them for being mean to me. She intentionally gave me bad grades and then presented them to the class going "Don't be an idiot like her!"
    The moment any tests I did weren't graded by her I was one of the best in class, else I was always in the lower end.
    We tried going to the principal but he believed the teacher. Going like "What reason would such an upstanding teacher have to go after a little girl? Maybe reflect on your own behavior and wonder if you aren't the reason she needs to be harsher on you!" My parents were fuming but just as powerless.
    I was so glad to graduate and never see this woman again. She never managed to break me and it absolutely bothered her. She didn't to this day. I'm a university graduate today. I won the battle.

    This would be reported to the Principal. If they did not act, CPS.

      I don't think CPS can do anything there but they can definitely elevate it to the superintendent and school board

      Schools are different to home environment. My principal when i was in yr 6 decided to threaten me into telling him the truth. A vunerable child in front of a male who is in authority of the school and he thought get me to admit i was lying. I never lied, just not going to tell the likes of him who could not treat the situation delicately. These days they have to have a professional. My yr 3 teacher, i still have disgust over, was a nun (i was in a country catholic school) and she would crack a ruler on the table to make be go faster. It only made me slower and stressed out. Kids loved her cos she gave no homework (i had problems at home over that) and when i moved grades, she went to disney land, so when she came back she gave us all a gift. All the kids hung around her except me. I wanted to exit the room instead. I ended up being given the last disney pen and it was cinderella. I never really had some attachment to it. I remeber being last as a sat away from the spot and the kids coaxing me over when prompted. Both the staff members traumatised me. I never complained at home cos that was another issue that traumatised me. The nun should be passedxaway by now. The principal was a father to young children at the time, no idea where he went.

      I don’t Think, it’s dark, it just revealed the Dark Side of the School System. Luckily only a smart part of it there will be always teacher to harass their students but luckily there are also nice teachers on the other side just like Mrs Adams and apart from that there’s nothing to talk about it, the OP managed to get away through life And took always the right decisions.. and the end is not dark, it’s just fair. They lost their jobs and reputation. No black van involved..

    I think she was wrong to punish the son for the sins of the father. She didn't explain, said she didn't want to disillusion him, in what could've been a calm conversation meant to foster understanding; but had no problem disillusioning him aggressively in front of his dad... I mean all the shit after about being a pedophile being a separate matter. She was right to leave him, but for a different reason.

    • @annettekohler1491

      Why? Story is not crap. As long as you compare it to the other text stories channels. They always choose different topics is individual and the actors are doing a good job and yes,, there is such as child abuse by teachers and for some reason, teachers don’t tell their parents I know, what I’m talking about and definitely no one here expects a Pulitzer-worthy story. Just entertainment, this channel is not always about a CEO, directory, moving in a house without permission then, you are always free to not listen to these

    Why doesn’t Dave have Richard’s accent(?)? Just saying if you’re around someone almost everyday, all day then you usually pick up their speech patterns. And why is Richard labeled as his full name instead of just “dad” in Dave’s phone?

      No not really. I grandad had a thick Irish accent. He did most of the childcare and spent as much time as possible with his 6 kids, but not 1 of those 6 kids even had a slight twang of Irish. I assume because he was just 1 person around them who had that accent. The rest of the people their friends, teachers, slut of a mother had local accents. So they grew up with a local accent.

    • @Tracie.....
      @Tracie..... 17 днів тому +2

      No. My grandad had a thick Irish accent and was the main carer for his 6 kids. Not one of them had a slight twang of Irish. Probably because he was the only person around them with such an accent. Everyone else had a local accent
