Utilizing electric fields rather than electrical currents or magnetic fields to manipulate magnetic spin states is potential for super low-power memory device applications owing to the suppressing of the Joule heating. In this presentation, I would like to introduce the electric-field controlled resistance and antiferromagnetic spin states in some magnetic intermetallics such as FeRh, MnPt, and Mn3Pt, which involves the giant electroresistance modulation, the electrically reversible cracks, and the electrically switching of the topological anomalous Hall effect induced by nonvanishing Berry curvature in noncollinear antiferromagnets. All these studies have provided attractive examples for the emerging antiferromagnetic piezospintronics.
