While it’s a ‘butcher knife’, I’d call it a ‘cleaver, as it’s too thick bladed and heavy for most slicing cuts, yet is well suited to separating joints or softer bones. I use a ‘chef knife’ for most cuts. Love the stands you made for the last few projects. Oddly, no ‘butcher’ activity occurred in you video, unless ruthlessly dispatching the vegetables counts!
I love your restorations, I'm just curious as to how many cleavers you have? I'd love to see a show that showcases all of your restorations, like a recap for the last year. Great work as usual, thanks!
Nice job! If I may make a suggestion based on other videos watched on the topic, try to make handle a little more fancy. It's good work but a little plain/basic. That's just my view but good work.
Сколько смотрю твои видео понять не могу где твоя мастерская, создаётся впечатление что на втором или третьем этаже пятиэтажки старого фонда, но это же не может быть так, поскольку соседи спалили бы тебя на костре =))))))))).
Just a question .. in electrolysis why you always use a rusty rod .. try a non rusty rod and cleaned box .. Im curious to see the result .. good job and thanks
Whenever you do the electrolyte thing where you submerge the whole thing in water and salt solutions, why do you always leave a portion of the tang not submerge? It is also rusty
@@ScrewsAndTools so why dont you use a wire or another conductor to secure it? Coz i feel rust will form faster on the handle that didnt got electrolyte

That sigh before the hand sanding made me actually laugh.

Thank you sir!
Wow! Fantastic restoration on this Butcher Knife/Cleaver.
It came out beautiful. The handle and the stand for it are amazing.
You are very talented.
Imagine how strong your arm would be if you had to swing that huge knife for 10 hours a day, 6 days a week. Another great video!
Whoa... is that a normal shaped cleaver? I'm so used to seeing your animal shaped cleavers 😄. It looks great ✨️🔪✨️👍

La restauración del cuchillo de carnicero fue genial. Pero hacer una base para ello completa el trabajo. Me gusta.

The restoration of the butcher's knife was great. But making a base for it completes the work. Like.

КЛАСС! Просто КЛАСС!
Nice job! If I may make a suggestion based on other videos watched on the topic, try to make handle a little more fancy. It's good work but a little plain/basic.
That's just my view but good work.

leaving the wood natural would look really nice too....
Попробуйте замочить топор в воде обычной часов на 6
Затем щёткой всё убертся
Spasibo za sovet! Zdorovia!
Nice job! Was that thing hot when you grabbed it? ;-) Nice blade protector, too.
It seemed warm to me, but when I squeezed my fingers it was so hot)
@@ScrewsAndTools I really like that blade protector. That was a very good idea you came up with.
Hi friend, congratulations for your works. What are these two components that you use to paint?
Hello sir, thank you for attention. It's common paint for hair. Hair dye. You can use most cheap and it will be work.
finally i restore my old elwell 4 1/2 lbs axe viewing your videos ... why dont sell your restoratios on line?
Hello sir, thank you for attention. I think this will be difficult to do, because it is forbidden to send sharp cutting objects.
@@ScrewsAndTools in eBay you buy a bayonet without problems hehe
Just a question .. in electrolysis why you always use a rusty rod .. try a non rusty rod and cleaned box .. Im curious to see the result .. good job and thanks
It is a sacrificial piece, and the condition doesn’t matter, as it will corrode away as part of the process.
be more careful with electricity, seeing you even hurt me
It wasn't electricity but temperature. You can see that was an old computer power supply. It can give max 12V
@@mlody969 Try it with some other less dangerous source of electricity
First
Yeah, it's hot
Unplug it before you touch it
1:27 :D :D nice job :D :D sorry :D
hair paint!
👍👍👍👍🇪🇸🍻
You do nice work with minimal tools, but it's time to step it up. Make something from scratch, do something different.
Thank you! Stay safe.
Isn't this a reupload?
No sir, it's new video.
Ruined another one doing the high polish to it
Whenever you do the electrolyte thing where you submerge the whole thing in water and salt solutions, why do you always leave a portion of the tang not submerge? It is also rusty
That part is always hidden by the handle, and I need good contact with the wire.
@@ScrewsAndTools so why dont you use a wire or another conductor to secure it? Coz i feel rust will form faster on the handle that didnt got electrolyte
@@allan4128 Next time I will put the whole stuff in the water. Thanks.

S&T are you married?
Good one!
