Since Onewe is a band there is an easy way to keep track of the names (by instrument). Drums (Harin), Guitar (Kanghyun), Keyboard/vocal (Dongmyeong), Bass Guitar/rapper (CyA), Vocal/No instrument (usually) (Yonghoon). These three songs are all favorites of mine but my number one of theirs is Parting. Book in memory is another favorite.
They write their own music and it is definitely recommended to check out the lyrics because they are generally meaningful and emotional.
Don't think you noticed but in the first mv there are a number of cameos dancing. Oneus, Purple Kiss (new girl group from the same company) and AleXa (different company) who has done narration for Oneus story films and collaborated with Onewe.
Oh yeah, they're JUST AMAZING. For me, their songs are just masterpieces. I really love to listen to every song of them. Their songs are so beautiful and meaningful. Whatever song choose you would like them. I hope you make more reactions to them.
In Korea egg vendors used to say Eggs are Here ! Kanghyung might look familiar because he played guitar a lot of times on Mammamo’s live performances. The fraternal twin is the keyboardist. Only 3 of them do vocals. I would never relegate the instrumentalists as backup because they are integral to their sound.
Perhaps I phrased that wrong, I meant that the instrumentalists (besides some singing themselves) perform the backing vocals for the member that is currently singing. Not that they're backup, because you're right, each member is very important for the whole performance to work out!
I highly recommend ONEWE’s ‘Parting’, ‘A book in memory’, ‘Star’,’Regulus’ and ‘Universe’. Their bsides as well are great like ‘Ring on my ears’, ‘Veronica’, ‘0&4’. They have a lot of wonderful songs as well as cover songs and hopefully you’ll react to those! Love your reaction btw.
Hi. Happy you liked Onewe. I only discovered them recently through their association with Oneus. BTW the twins are Xion and Dongmyeong. But they are not identical twins. I only know a few songs of theirs so far but I like Veronica (it's my daughter's name so it's one of the first I checked out) and Star Is incredible too
Yes, you can love a voice. Yonghoon's voice is my bias.
For the Rain to Be MV, they actually got all of the instruments/speakers/etc. broken from a secondhand shop. The only exception is Dongmyeong's white keytar, which was already broken and this was its final send-off.
Dongmyeon who sing and play keyboard is the older twins of Xion from ONEUS. Cya is the rapper and bassist. Kanghyun, the guitarist is the one who composed most of their songs. Harin is the drummer. And the last Yonghoon, the leader and main vocalist is the oldest in Onewe.
Kanghyun, Cya and Yonghoon composed almost all of their songs. Dongmyeon and Harin also participated in writing lyrics and composed their songs too.
I agree with most of this, however Kanghyun hasn't composed most of onewe's songs. that would be Giuk, while Yonghoon and Kanghyun have done around the same amount (Yonghoon did a bit more)
The instruments used for the MV are broken instruments. They would never subject their. Beloved instruments to this.

It's so good to see someone begin thier ONEWE journey! You really won't regret any song you hear. Their new album VOYAGER is 6 straight amazing songs. You definitely need to give them a listen. Everyone else has already made good song reccs too.

And btw, onewe's music is different from the rest of the kbands. Aside from they write their own music even their CEO cannot write one for them bcs of their style, they also have a versatile discography you can jive in whenever your in various moods. ONEWE can give you that music and company 🥺

ONEWE can do anything! Literally, anything. They can sing, rap, write their own songs, and can even dance! (not like the typical idol dance though 😂)

CyA, the rapper wrote that part of "eggs are here" I don't remember very well when they explained it on a radio show, but what they wanted was to add a part like retro or something like that and that phrase is something they listened to a lot when they were younger (I don't know if it's a famous phrase in Korea or is it from some kdrama)
It's from egg seller that went through the neighbourhood streets, it's also a play on words bc it sounds like "season is here"

I might say that dancing might not be the strongest, but Harin can get down and they have danced before. I sincerely have fallen in love with Yonghoon. That voice is heavenly. The newest album is so great. I think what I like so much is you get a different sound depending on the member that writes a song.
