Hi Dan, Great Video! I'm doing an event next month and Espresso Martini has been requested for the menu. Think I will definitely use the concentrate method and have 25 people and no espresso machine! Did you put in 40g of Solo? Roughly 40ml? Many thanks
Thanks Archie. It might be worth checking out this video which I found have great results. Hope the event goes well! Espresso Martini in an INSTANT! ua-cam.com/video/KZJBzAi4Jh0/v-deo.html
@@DANFELLOWScoffeecocktails Thank you I watched the other video too. However that is just with instant coffee rather than concentrate. If i were to use the Solo coffee concentrate (have just bought a carton to test with - woud you stick to your recipe at the beginning of this video of 40g/40ml of carton coffee concentrate? Thank you!
Hey been stuggling to dial this in I believe my issue is bean choice. I'm using a square mile roasters light filter bean and I believe I should go to something like their red brick espresso blend for that traditional "coffee" flavour. Thoughts?
Different coffees will bring different characteristics, as with any recipe. I prefer a little more depth of flavour and body personally, but you can adjust the other ingredients and ratios to fit most roast levels. Red Brick would make a delicious option though, definitely!
Love this video, I have an Aeropress with the Prismo. Unfortunately a Timemore Chestnut C2 hand grinder. Can you recommend a grinder setting to get the best results? Thanks again.
Thank you! I would recommend grinding fairly fine as we are trying to mimic espresso, but I don't have this grinder to hand to give a recommended setting unfortunately.
Great video! I have an Areopress and a metal filter but don't have the Prismo, would the Areopress still work? Is the Prismo doing much or is more so the metal filter?
Hello ! To make the recipe with filter coffee, what quantity of water and coffee (grams) is needed? You talk a lot about a strong filter coffee. What does this mean to you? Thank you for your videos!
Thorough and engaging video. Nice work Dan!
❤️
Thank you

@@DANFELLOWScoffeecocktails awesome. Thanks for reply. I can get pretty fine.

Thank you! Give it a try, the strength of the brew is as important as the filtering method so it should still be delicious!

Thanks so much! I usually go with 1:10 for a pour over style or you can go even stronger with something like an Aeropress!
