Jewalt definitely could have been useful... But in the grand scheme of things, I'm very pleased with the pickup of Caleb Williams. Quarterbacks like Williams come along once in a generation. Offensive lineman like Joe Alt come along in every draft. Roma Odunze has shown how awesome he will be in the very near future. As much as I would have liked to have picked up Alt in his place, I cannot deny that Rome has picked up an enormous amount of offensive slack that otherwise would not be there. The only problem with Chase Claypool, was that we kept the problem, Flus, and dumped the one who complained about the problem. Recall, Claypool responded to a probing journalist about whether or not he felt the coaches were doing a good enough job preparing him by saying he didn't think so. Turns out... Claypool was correct. We dumped the guy who complained about the crappy coaching staff, and are very high second round draft choice, right along with it. This was mistake by the Bears.
Kieq.... This organization had better get the GM - HC correctly THIS TIME !!! Poles might be gone after this season ..Three decades of incompetent management and failed season is a disgrace to all Bears fans !!!
Kevin Warren needs to concentrate on getting a stadium built. He has done lots of talking but accomplished nothing since taking his role. Ryan Poles has been a OK GM but he also got really lucky that Lovie blessed us with the #1 pick. If they didn't get that lucky pick Poles would be below average at GM.
I still believe in Poles. Lets be real. Hes GM but doesnt have total control. Ownership has to basically approve everything. If he kept Uberflues too long, fine but give he knows he f'd up. Now give him the opportunity to fix it. He more than anyone knows the what the team needs. And he did fix the qb problem that NOONE ever solved. Many wanted Fields, I was one of em. Now Im glad he chose to draft Caleb. Hes done alot of good. And hes structuring the team responsibly. I want Poles back. Pick the right coach. Get better in all phases. We gonna rock next year. 🐻 F-ing ⬇️
Sorry I said from the end of last season 1 fire the coach hire Harbaugh , 2trade first pick for 3 firsts and the 2 seconds, keep fields draft Joe Alt Rome feel to us so you have to take him, but the best center and best guard on the board with the 2 seconds. I love Caleb but time will tell how great Fields can be with a good offensive line
I’m sick of hearing about Kevin Warren, he’s failed with the Stadium ( that’s the only thing he should be focused on) not football operations, let Poles do his job, but I think it would be better dealing with Warren instead of George M. though🤔🤔🤔
