56 year old Saraighat Bridge to be closed for renovation

The 56 year old Saraighat Bridge in Guwahati will be closed for renovation and until then no vehicles will be allowed to cross over the bridge.
The Northeast Frontier Railway will be carrying out the renovation work on the bridge.
