Balance is so important to a happy life! Congratulations to you for hitting the 15,000 mark but still recognizing that self care is critical to your happiness! Welcome back!
Of course I watch😀❤️❤️. Your down to earth approach and your exuberance is what keeps me coming back. Congrats on your little mini break and the growth of your channel❤️❤️❤️
I kept saying me too! watching this video. I have gained weight, felt off balance and have definitely felt the arthritis in my back a lot more with inactivity. Thank you for sharing. And you do you, your knitting does not have twisted stitches, it has Cinnamon stitches! 😂😂. (Disclaimer I know nothing about knitting)
Welcome back Jennifer. I have missed you. I’m glad to see you happy and refreshed. Congratulations on reaching 15K subscribers(yarny friends ). Hugs from the U.K. 🇬🇧
Hi Jennifer, I know how you feel. I fell way off track taking care of me way before this PANDEMIC. In Feb of 2019 I had my second knee replacement and from that day till August the same year I gained 35lbs. I then lost my job while on sick leave and fell into a bad depression because I can no long work. In June I had gotten to the point I was having trouble breathing, I am a Big Beautiful woman , I was so disgusted with myself. My sister and sister in law and a veiw others started a Keto diet and asked me if I wanted to join them and I did. My hubby is a Big Beautiful Man but wasn't too willing, he said to do Keto. I made Keto dinners for 3 days and he didn't even notice so he is now joined me. We are both feeling so much better, even tho we have VERY LONG way to go. One of the things that absolutely upset me is how out of shape I have gotten so quickly, so with that in mind we started working together for our future. I will keep you in my prayers because I know some of the struggles but together you can do it! You got this! God Bless you and your family!
I’m in awe of how much you have knitted!!! I’m so happy you are focusing on you, and that you gave yourself permission to take a break! Thank you for always sharing great stories that make me LOL!! ☺️
Good seeing you Jennifer. I've missed you. Question: Is a yarn over two different yarns having a sleepover??? Every time you said yarnover I had visions if all these yarns giggling, whispering, eating and the like, lol What do you think?? See, you're not the only crazy one. Congrats on 15K subscribers, that's really awesome!!!
I love your attitude, learning any new skill is trial and error. You make your projects with love and fun. Thank you for being so transparent, love you gal.❤️❤️❤️
Please don’t let anyone tell you that you are knitting “wrong”, you are obviously NOT. I was also twisting my stitches which can be a beautiful design element however you are going to want to understand how that happens once you get into garments. I found out, through an amazing group of knitters in a MKAL, that I am a (ready for this?), “Continental combination knitter”. Yep it’s a real thing. Please look that up! I watched a slew of videos. The 2 that stand out in my terrible memory are 1 from Patty Lyons (AMAZING instructor!) and another one was on Craftsy/Bluprint by a gentleman I can’t remember a name. Basically, there were 2 things that made it click in my old brain. One is to knit into the “leading leg” and what that actually is. Second, is making sure that I was wrapping the yarn around the needle in the same direction for both knits AND purls. Sorry this is so long but I just have to share this info with you bc I struggled for a HOT minute with that. You look GREAT btw!! Keep taking care of yourself first and foremost always!! ☺️😉
Wondered where you went but figured you needed a break. Glad you got one. Love the hat with the braids.... super cute. Continue to take time for you.🧶💜
I’m glad you recharged on your time off! Now that you pointed out the “twisted stitches” it reminded me my sister used to do that. I showed her what she was doing & her knitting lies more flat now, but that “twisted stitch” is an actual stitch so there you go your even more advanced than you think. 😉 LOL I love the purple cowl. That yarn looks amazing, such colour depth! Welcome back & I’m looking forward to all of your next content for the channel. 🧶🧶🧶🧶
The Wayward Knitter , I love that you are knitting now and love the hats that you made. I am left handed and had to teach myself to crochet and knit many years ago. You are such a inspiration and I love watching you.
So glad you took time off for you! I love watching your videos because I feel like we are sitting at the table with a cup of coffee and chatting about stuff. You are so natural and I adore your laugh! And you have made me a huge fan of Premier yarns! Congratulations on 15k+ subscribers! We love you! ❤️🧶❤️🧶
Congratulations Jennifer!!! I m so happy for you. All those new subscribers are going to be saying, "how did I miss this channel?" So cool! Be mellow and enjoy life. You are the best! 😍
Congratulations on reaching 8,000 subscribers 🎉🎉🎉🎉. I’m very impressed with you designing your own hats and the triangle Cowell. You have done a marvellous job, that yarn you used for it is a lovely heathered colour. Keep taking care of your health it’s the most important thing to do. If you need a break take it, no apologies needed. ❤️❤️🌺
I adore you. I look forward to every video you put out. You brighten my day. And as long as you’re enjoying knitting, what does it matter what your stitches look like. Please keep doing you, because as I said, I just adore you. 💜☺️
I'm so glad to hear that you are putting health first! It's great for not only your body but your mind and soul! It means you'll be able to crochet and knit for many decades to come! And it's important to take breaks when you feel you need it. 💕
You have a flurry of activity. Taking time to balance was the correct thing to do. I am new here, but love, love seeing the new-to-knitting perspective and the very different from me crochet project...both very inspiring. 💖 Keep yourself, your family, and your creativity a top priority...we're here w/ya!! Virtual Hugs!! Go get em!
Jennifer, i respect and appreciate that you realized you needed a reset in your life. I did the same 2 weeks ago. I went back to work at the school building with our students (remote until Sept. 14). I have been home for 6 months. The kids have been having a hard time adjusting. We all needed to refocus, and last week was so so much better. I also gained weight over the lockdown period (stress eating) and not being at work. My job with Special needs students is an on the go type of job, lol. 💜💜 I also love the fact that you make mistakes part of learning. It is important to share that not every project should be instagram worthy. I learn more from the mistakes I have made in crafting than anything else. Hugs, and thanks for being you!
Jennifer, thank you tremendously for sharing your insightful-yarn journey with us. I truly appreciate that you totally embrace being YOU! Your creations are simply delightful. Pretty soon you'll have me getting reacquainted with my knitting needles. Whenever you need some downtime, please take it. We'll be here for you when you are completely refreshed (all 15K+).
I’m so glad you’re taking care of yourself. You’re absolutely right, if you don’t take time for your health you will spend time on your illness. Please do a tutorial on the knitted pumpkin, it’s adorable!
Instead of that pumpkin being ugly I would say it is abstract art. I love watching your videos and your honesty. Keep being you that's who I want to watch.
It's so so so nice that you shared how you NEEDED to get your balance back!!! We all need it and as for me I felt selfish that I wanted to do something for me....but not any more!!! The beanies with the braids are flippen adorkable!!!! I would soooooo want that in my life!!!! Welcome back!! XOXO
It's wonderful to have you back. I totally get needing a break and please take them when you want them! You are one the UA-camrs that has kept me sane since the man has been doing the work from home thing! Thank you! I love your pumpkins 🤩! Someone once told me (when I was learning quilting) only God makes perfect things so mistakes make them human made. Of course I've never seen a perfect pumpkin either...lol. Take your time, enjoy your days, and thank you for motivating me to get walking again! Brightest blessings!
Thank you for sharing the ups and downs of your yarn craft journey. Seeing the hits and misses, the creative fixes... it's all so inspiring to all of us to keep trying and working through our struggles. Stay genuine.
Welcome back. I was always told I held my needles wrong and did the stitches wrong, but I was always happy with my work and it didn’t look like everyone else’s stuff. If it makes you happy then do it you’re way. It’s fabulous! 🧶
Oh Jennifer! I love and appreciate everything about you! ❤️🥰❤️ Your videos are honest, sincere, entertaining, educational and SO MUCH FUN! And such a variety! For a beginner knitter you are very adventurous and I love it. Keep going . The twisted stich is when you knit through the back loop but it doesn't matter. Love that your channel keeps growing it is great!
"🌺💐 Hi Jennifer.. this was a great video !! I could relate to things you were saying & got emotional just like you did 🙁. I learned to knit over 50 years ago and have been crocheting more & more for about 4 years..so I am also "Bi-stitch-usual" .. what a great term !! You're just so adorable !! 🤣😂🤣.. xoxo .. Janet from Milwaukee, WI 💐🌺"
The pumpkin you designed is adorable! I also LOVE your knitted bandana scarf you are wearing. It is amazing to me how you are able to come up with your own designs so quickly once you decide what you want.

Congratulations on getting 15 thousand subscribers🎉. Super happy for you. I am so glade that you are staying true to your self🙂. Love your videos❤.
Jennifer explained, “I needed a break.” Thanks for all your work! Love from 🇨🇦

So pleased to sse you back my dear. Please don't feel it is necessary to apologise for taking time for yourself. This very strange year has made us feel we need to run to catch up. Take a pause, take a breath and slowly work towards completing one thing at a time, which, like your pretty bedroom, gives you joy. Be 😊 happy. Love always. Lynne in London. P.S. I really missed you.🙏👼

I’m addicted to you and your videos. Love your realness! Your adventures with knitting reminds me of my crochet journey. Who knows...you may be inspiring me to learn how to knitting. 🤩🤗
For a beginner knitter you are very adventurous and I love it. Keep going . The twisted stich is when you knit through the back loop but it doesn't matter. Love that your channel keeps growing it is great!
I am so glad you took time to concentrate on you. We all need to learn to take care of ourselves. We missed you and glad to see you back.
Love the wash cloth with the silly pumpkin. Would be fun to make lots of silly ones like that and call them mystery cloths LOL
You do what you need to do, everyone needs timeout sometimes. Hugzxx congrats on reaching 15000 subs
It made my day to watch this video today! So glad to see you again. In my humble opinion, twisted stitches or not, I think your knitting is inspiring and beautiful. Keep those needles clicking!
