brew for no more than 4 hours. after 4 hours it becomes acidic and an herbicide. I don't mix with compost teas. I don't really do compost teas unless my soil dries out too much. I just top dress compost and castings and use cover crops.
fascinating! Do you think this tea could be used to sprout seeds? like in a paper towel - instead of using water use this tea? I have had an awful time getting anything to grow from seed...
MJ Healthy Living (Miss Judy) i actually follow tnose method for sprouting all seeds. ive found you do not want to soak seeds for more than 8 hours at a time. it kills of enzymes and drowns the embryo. so soak seeda for 8 hours, rest seeds on a damp cloth for hours and repeat til seeds sprout. but some seeds need to be scarified to sprout. thats when you line a container with soft sand paper and then add the seed to the container and shake for a minute.
so so cool - had no idea about the scarified thing - but Im about to try anything - lol Ive already planned my shopping trip tomorrow for alfalfa pellets :) thanks for the great info :)
No lately I haven't been taking the last few inches and dumping it outside on my outdoor plants or indoor veg.. I kind of think the green shells of the mung beans may produce alot of nitrogen once they break down. My strains use very little nitrogen. You can strain them if you want. if you can use unhulled barley seeds instead or corn seeds that issue may not occur. the seed sprouts them selves produce the enzymes. new videos coming very soon.
Thanks for the info, will be trying for sure. Respect.
Those are mung beans. Best used for flowering stage due to high P-K
how often do you use this tea? if you add nutes once a week, when do you use the tea?
Swayzeo I don't add nutes. I run no till probiotic living soil. I use sst's every 3rd watering til week 7 of 12/12.
Great video brother!
how long do you brew for, could it be brewed with compost together?

When you are brewing, are you just aerating the mush you made? Are you applying heat?
Hyroot Pharms please what type of seeds do you used
@@hyroot highly valuable comment! Thank you so much

thanks for making the video. Do you strain the water prior to watering?
