My question is how come "MY" is correct after Preposition.
when we say "our car", it means that the car is shared between us. But when we say "our cars", it means that each of us has his/her own car. is that correct?
Those are possessive pronouns. They can take the place of a noun. Your car is fast. Mine is slow. The word "mine" is a possessive pronoun. This lesson is on possessive adjectives.
