I've also been playing with high voltage since the 80:s and it's great to see some common-sense (Not inflated numbers) demonstrations and practical ideas. Sure is a lot easier to get HV-rated parts than back then, when you were pretty much stuck with TV horizontal output circuits/triplers!
Hi, thx for the video. Do you remember what value resistor and capacitor you used for the filter? Is it best to choose a low value resistor so that it doesn't mess up the voltage divider ratio? Also, who do you buy the 2CL2FM diodes from? I'm thinking of getting a few more as spares. Thanks again.
The more I work on making my own CW voltage multiplier and power setup, the more I respect and appreciate all of the work that went into making your setup! Yours is so well thought out. Do you know how much current your voltage multiplier outputs? I am deciding on what diodes to get and they are of course cheaper if they're rated for lower current.
I got confused so it is 10 stages by 2x equals 20x multiplication! The input is -7500v to +7500v and peak to peak voltage is 15 kv. And the maximum rating must be FULL peak to peak amplitude?
Really nice video i have learned some new stuff (and i have been messing with high voltage for 30 years) thanks a lot ! TOP JOB.

Great solution, thanks for sharing 👍
Excellent demo video
Cool video!
what are the part numbers of the capacitors and diodes?
Does using twice components make circuit twice as powerful? Why did you choose this type of a circuit?
Your table looks like my whole room lol. 👍👍👍👍
hi-voltage for electrostatics is very important, more important than just lightning I think.
What if you use an op amp buffer before your volt meter? I wonder if it has a higher impedance than the multi meter

Hi, is it possible to use bleeder resistor to safely discharge the voltage multiplier, and what is the overall capacitance of the circuit?

Hello again, how did you make the toroid? Did you buy it directly, and if yes, which website please? Thanks.
Hi! Value of resistor and capacitor in the filtering circuit please?
Hi, what exactly are you probing with the multimeter? (the capacitor only, or the entire low voltage side?)

Is there any method for Isolated measurement of these high voltages, also linear measurement is required.
Вы используете конденсаторы емкостью 2 нф, у меня есть на 25 кв 100 пф , как думаете - стоит ли с ними собирать умножитель ?
5x 70Mohm + 50kOhm + 5,7kOhm + 10kOhm ???
