see i always wondered what sound this would give tho my record player...she cant bend that way....and its fucking hard to get the stylus down and latched...usually just fucks up and cant grip it.....ya

I wonder if the hole is in the same location on every pressing? If not then every record would have a different sound.
I believe he drilled the hole on most of them himself. I would imagine every disc would play different to at least some degree.
@vondernacht he did it himself at his kitchen table. He asked the record pressing company to do it and they refused.

experimenting is good, but I cannot imagine a situation where I would enjoy listening to this. It's fun on paper but other than that it's just stupid

I think the main aim of this kind of experiment is being disturbing. That wouldn't work for an easy listening song.
