This depends on a few factors. I live in Northern Ireland so it's never extremely hot. It will also depend on the thickness of the bowl you make and if you place something chilled/cold inside and also if you place the contents inside in an inner bowl as I have done with the ice cream. I usually leave it in the freezer until I'm about to serve from it and then it can happily sit for 10 - 15 mins before I pop it back into the freezer if I'm going to re use it. If you don't care about re using it, just pop a dish under it to collect the water and enjoy! Not a straightforward answer but I hope it helps

I've added paint to ice. Looks very pretty, but I don't eat it!
