Great Video! I like how thorough you were, and you have a good Presence. I have decades of experience in landscaping and gardening, and thought I might offer a few thoughts. In most cases, Painting the tree to prevent sunburn when you plant it, isn't necessary. It would be necessary for instance if you did a major pruning on an existing Mango tree, and exposed the trunk to sun that it had never seen due to the canopy. If you do need to protect a tree, you can also use white water based latex paint, diluted with 50% water. As far as the planting of the trees, you can mix organic soil and fertilizer in with the dirt. It will give it an added boost. It won't shock the tree. Just use a light application of fertilizer, like 1/3 the recommended amount for a tree that size. I look forward to more content :)

I like your choices of trees. I have all of them. Barbados Cherries are good for the immune system, and high in vitamin C, but they taste like a real acidic tomato. You might want to look into a Jamaican Cherry/Strawberry tree, and a Rio Grande cherry. They are supposed to be sweet tasting and both do well here supposedly. I just purchased those for myself. Happy Planting!

I’ve read a lot of mixed opinions on Barbados Cherry, and it seems like it depends on the plant for how sweet the fruit gets. It was what my local nursery had and I trust them a lot so I am going to hold out and be optimistic for sweet fruits. That’s exciting, would like to hear how those do for you!
