When Sammy said, "We just got on stage and we were ourself as hard as we can be" I truly cried with them. As a musician, it hits really hard (in a good way lol). That is an amazing thing we can do, a beautiful thing we can share, and an extraordinary thing we can all share. And when we are doing this thing we love, with people we love just as much, it shows, and I can feel it in all your videos!! It has taken me years to feel comfortable in my own skin, with my own person, and music has always been the best (and sometimes the only) way to find my place and my strength. Recently, I had the pleasure to ing one of your songs with a complete band, and people I consider my friends, it was amazing, and I could feel and see myself as me, I'd never been as myself as in that moment, and it was all thanks to your amazing music and message, so thanks a lot! I'm so grateful I found your music at the star of 2019, when I just started my music studies. I really can't wait for you to come to Chile, so I can live in your talent for a bit and sing everything with all my power❤ (Or for me to go to the US, but I really want to go with my friends to your show 😋) And to you random person reading this, first, thanks for reading my brain dump😁, second; Have a great day/night! and enjoy your life as much as you can!!!🥳
Very inspiring message here, I hope you continue to cultivate and create your musical vision. It can be a very vulnerable and challenging process to find yourself more and what role music plays into that, but I hope you are able to find yourself more in music because it’s truly for everyone.
I was able to see Sammy Rae in Austin last night. After the show my friends and I saw her gathering up the equipment and we stopped by to thank her for what the show meant to us. She was clearly busy but still gracious enough to come by and say a quick word. I literally had to hang onto the stage railing to keep from fainting. WOW. What a performer, what an artist, what a human!!
Being at the run of shows in CT, ME, and then the last show in Boston was life changing. Though it's not included in the doc, Sammy started crying in the middle of "Living Room Floor" during the Sunday Boston show and the whole band came up and hugged them and the audience was crying and I was sobbing and when I say I've seen them perform live a dozen times and a 13th time coming up in October in Boston, I mean it is literally life-changing to witness them be themselves and want so badly to just shove their feelings out into every person that comes up to the shows and it feels like bearing witness to someone's dreams being played out. It's unlike anything you'll ever feel anywhere else
Love this!!! So fun. It must be so exciting to be on tour! To be able to hear “If It All Goes South” being thought of and created around 15 or 16 minutes in… so cool! Ah just the process of talking about the theory, and seeing it be stuck in Sammy Rae’s head humming various parts of the song. There’s something just so pure and musical about Sammy Rae’s music, you can just tell they make music to make music… like what else could you ask for?? Plus a great group of supportive, fun, and thoughtful musicians just creating the best vibes.
Got to see Sammy in Asheville 2 days ago and that was the most heartfelt and emotional concert I've been to. Being able to see a performer that has helped me through some of the worst parts of my life live was something I will never forget and I plan on seeing them again and again as much as I can.
Just saw those wonderful friends for the third time in Raleigh a few nights ago. Each show is better than the last, and I always have the most amazing time during the show and thinking back. Much love, and here’s to many more ❤
Thank you so much for documenting this amazing tour! My wife and I were at Terminal 5 and had the time of our lives, so grateful we could make it to the last show. We're gonna be seeing SR&TF next month in White Plains, and we cannot wait! You're our favorite Sammy Rae! Her speech at the end really touched me, and I too am so so grateful you did not give up. You have made some of my favorite music of all time and I cannot wait for all the music to come!
Thanks Sammy the tour was amazing! This is a really unique behind the scenes look and I’m really glad you guys decided to give us this look into the process!

I'm sad, I missed you guys in Cleveland. Another casualty of Midwest living.
