"some of the things in PVE are really good training" At this point I would tell someone completely new to the game to play pve first and get to like level 30, then dip you toes into pvp. I think the experience would be better than what those of us that never had pve when we started and had to learn a lot of hard lessons had.
I love how the AI PMC did that 90 degree turn when Pestily shot at his head. He joked that the PMC must have been Neo and one of the PMCs name was actually Neo!
Morning Dad and Narpha. Getting up early with my coffee to start work is SO much easier when I know the first hour ish will be one of these vids. Cheers!
I've takin the BTR 1 time on woods and that was because the goons where chasing me down, so I jumped in and took it as far to the opposite side of the map as I could go. I extracted the raid with some valuable loot and quest items I needed. Oh, and I was a scav, not my pmc
I usually have no issues with them Goons.. It gets gnarly when for example you spawn at Old Gas, you move towards the lever to unlock ZB-013 and right when crossing the railwaybridge, and passing that traincar, you get lit up by Knight. He has spotted you moving somehow, hauled ass to the wall next to the traintracks, and lits you up. Getting away, healing, fending off loads of scavs, only to get killed 10 minutes later by Knight who has moved all around the map via Construction, New Gas, and Military Checkpoint to get you from behind...
At 25:30, You don't have to use insurance. Our group doesn't allow scavs and insurance. You die? You lose it, unless a friend is willing to give up bag space to drag it out. Creates the tense atmosphere this guy is looking for. Edit: Ok 2 seconds later, pest literally says it xD. Anyway, It's a great way to play pve.
At least you had time to get stuff done before running into them. I remember the first raid one wipe knight sprinted up to me in the first minute and murdered me
25:15 this... I plan to start playing PVE next week at the start of the wipe and this is one of those things I am gonna go more "hardcore" on myself to make it more enjoyable and I am not gonna insure anything... also gonna limit the flea market use to minimum... watching this PVE series somehow really got me exited to switch from PVP after 6 years
I like it because its difficult enough to where you always have to be on your toes, but can actually progress through the quests somewhat easily making it feel like a campaign
Only nerf they need is spotting you from too far. They shouldn’t be able to spot you from across the map through a tiny window while you search through file cabinets and they see an inch of your shoulder.
As long as you have some sort of cover they aren't terible if you let them push. Bird eye having no footsteps is the biggest issue but I do agree that in daytime maps they can spot you from a ridiculous range and push you halfway across the map
@@stealthh46 they need both. 100% spawnrate is annoying as hell but sometimes they are just stupidly acccurate. I shot a sniper shot at pipe from Dorms (he was in the fortress) and i shot him down then i get insta killed by Birdeye..and this has happened more then twice. I got shot by someone at LH and then i look around to see that no ones is there then i look with a 12x scope down the road and see a goon.. then i'm insta dead.. 150m+ away.. at night.. Sometimes the goons are completely braindead and then.. they sometimes just insta taps you..
"I could check USEC camp" Looking at the video title, it's pretty obvious what's about to happen. Getting Head, Eyes'd by Big Pipe 5 seconds into a raid because you spawned at the lake is also really fun.
With the bosses/goons etc in PvE's spawn rate, ive noticed that they seem to spawn every time UNTIL I kill them, then they seem to dissapear for a few raids. Maybe thats how that works?
I've noticed this too, especially with Tagilla in Factory. I'll run factory when I'm bored cuz the ultra fast que times, and I swear he's always there till I kill him, then I have 4 or 5 raids without him. I think this may be the case
I think a bit of RNG on insurance would be a good idea tbh. Even just a flat rate would be fine, like 30% of stuff just doesn't come back. There's a lot of room to expand on that though. Like have it be more likely that just attachments would be looted, or smaller items are more likely to be taken than larger items, and even scale the chance based on time left in raid. The less time remaining, the more likely you are to get the items back. So if you die early in a raid you are more likely to not get your shit because a scav or the guy who killed you had more time to find your shit.
It's definitely higher, because I can't run customs without dying to the goons. I'm talking I went 30 times in a row and the goons were there every single time.
WHY ARE THERE GOONS/BOSSES EVERY RAID IN CUSTOMS!? I am level 10 with an SKS, and a PACA. and I cant do customs tasks without getting my ass eaten by the goons every raid. but when I was lvl 45 2 months into the wipe hunting goons, they were on vacation or some shit
Big Pipe said "out of ammo" and i heard him unload his magazine from his gun.... so i peak him... just for him to spray me down with 1000 bullets.... is he gaslighting me? HOW FAST DOES THIS GUY RELOAD GUNS
I know wipe is near but they need to fix the 100% spawn rate of the goons and some bosses. No reason to have it that high, at most a 30% rate for those 3 is fine. Also tagilla should be rarer, you should only encounter him a few times out of a dozen raids rather than only 1 raid he isn't in.
to get vit lvl 3 i went on factory and then walked around in barbed wire and healed myself over and over. Took about 3 raids from lvl 2-3. There's a good spot by the far spawn, right below the stairs up to the rafters. No scav/pmc spawns, sometimes they find u but unlikely, u have cover to hide behind, and just a little bit of barbed wire. U can also just go in naked with a grizzly up your butt
I love how some people saying yeah but insurance need to be rng so you don't know if you getting it back because is too easy but when you said to them don't insure they shit their pants 😂😂😂
Goons are always crazy , I have a hard time fighting them , on woods I have had them chase me from usec camp all the way across the road going to sniper rock
Crazy how some of these commenter's don't understand this is how the goons have been on pvp the entire time. Y'all can at least expect they'll be there every time and prepare appropriately since other pmcs are a literal joke lmao
2:43 The game in general is way to dark. Its like your PMC doesn't have pupils that adjust. You can be inside a garage with a huge garage door open and tons of sunlight coming in and you still need a flashlight to see stuff in the garage. Its really dumb imo.
Shoreline quests are damn near impossible if the goons are on the map. I have had Knight and Birdeye chase me from the pier to the tunnel while trying to mark quest spots. And they are on the map almost 100% of the time.
Nice to see Pest have a Goon encounter us mortals can relate to
Pesty: broke
Also Pesty: leaves 200k in vodka and grenades behind
ah yes, my average experience with the goons in pve

110% agree with you
I mean the jump to PvP is always going to be a smack in the face. They can at least learn the basics.
They can at least learn the maps.
At least they would know how to heal and extract 😂😂😂
“Nicely done agent Goon, now try to find an exit and we will talk soon.”
Ahhh yes Pest experiences my many many attempts to get search mission done.

does anyone else get hunted down and one tapped by the goons EVERY RAID in pve or does this game hate me
15:30 - Bloody Neo
18:30 - Literally looting Neo
Paid actor and scripted episode :)))
I noticed this too XD

this is what i do it makes it punishing if you die and unless you cheese every corner you probably going to a die decent amount.
if the pve goons don't get a massive nerf on 0.15, a lot of people are gonna lose their shit
Only nerf they need is spotting you from too far. They shouldn’t be able to spot you from across the map through a tiny window while you search through file cabinets and they see an inch of your shoulder.
@@WOWMelted they are also inhumanly fast, shoot inhumanly well (accuracy + recoil control) and spawn too often
As long as you have some sort of cover they aren't terible if you let them push. Bird eye having no footsteps is the biggest issue but I do agree that in daytime maps they can spot you from a ridiculous range and push you halfway across the map
they dont need a nerf, they need to not have 100percent spawn rate lmao

His name being neo after dodging bullets is hilarious 19:02
thats actually pretty funny, good eye sir

don't forget the 1s factory raid because you spawned right next to your sweet friend Tagilla

I've almost never used insurance playing tarkov since 2018, i feel like that dude has such a weird gripe.. lol 25:13
Pestily he's bloody Neo and just after you actually kill a AI named Neo 😂
Brutal ending
This is me every time I play woods. I can’t even get any quest stuff done.
just use exploit with practice mode
This is my goon experience they've killed me probably 9/12 raids on shoreline.
It's definitely higher, because I can't run customs without dying to the goons. I'm talking I went 30 times in a row and the goons were there every single time.
I think they rotate maps right? So if they are on customs just play a different map for awhile. I think that’s how it works
3 raids in a row on interchange with killa the others day. Killed me every time😢
WHY ARE THERE GOONS/BOSSES EVERY RAID IN CUSTOMS!? I am level 10 with an SKS, and a PACA. and I cant do customs tasks without getting my ass eaten by the goons every raid. but when I was lvl 45 2 months into the wipe hunting goons, they were on vacation or some shit

for the insurance loss, what if your stuff would be put for sale at Fence's shop and you get back whatever hasn't be sold
I swear I run into the goons almost every raid... it's way too high spawn chance and they seem to be on all the maps all the time, not rotating
to get vit lvl 3 i went on factory and then walked around in barbed wire and healed myself over and over. Took about 3 raids from lvl 2-3. If it makes you feel better all the raids I’ve been in pve that has the goons they never sound off
The goon spawn rate needs to be turned down a tad, trying to fight them almost every woods, or shoreline raid is a little over the top
Quit giving them ideas damnit! The insurance coming back as easy as it does is great! lol
Does pestily have a video of his key bindings?
I dont really understand why they took the distance requirement away for shooter born in heaven. Really takes away the feeling of achievement.
oh i have a strpng hate for big pipe

Hey new to PvE and Tarkov in general, anyone know what sight he is using?
The broken Goons spawn is making pve almost as inenjoyable as pvp 😂
what monitor though? lol
Shoreline quests are damn near impossible if the goons are on the map. I have had Knight and Birdeye chase me from the pier to the tunnel while trying to mark quest spots. And they are on the map almost 100% of the time.
anyone know the monitor hes talking about?
MSI 271QRX QD-OLED 360hz, as found on his twitch profile
i do not get pmcs like that
Please go to Shoreline, as I feel that is literally the worst map in PVE right now.
Pve shoreline and woods are a joke
I will never play pvp. It's pointless, worthless, and boring.
Damn. 350 views in under a minute? Bro fell off
That goons experience is my goons experience trying to get signal done on shoreline 🥲🥲
