I did not expect Caller of the Storms to be this articulate in his speech. All this years I immagined the Blasphemy guys to have a dictionary of about 50 words at max and just be wild savage men drugged out of their heads. Good interview.
@@padraig88 You have too mna, this is the core of metal, expecting the fantastic out of the ordinary, otherwise it would be all just noisy pop. Never stop the madness !
@@albertmarkethinkpr1325 Then you would be disappointed in 99% of the musicians you admire. It's like expecting actors to be murderers and heros in real life.
Do an interview with Chris Volcano of Abominator. Also have you thought about trying to reissue the first 2 Abominator albums on Vinyl? A repress of "Barbarian War Worship" on Vinyl would be great as well.
It's endlessly amazing to me how the Canada accent works. This guy is due directly north of me by about 100 miles and they only start sounding like that aboot 95 or so along.
@@MusicOfDestruction I do think you talk about Revenge - but then Revenge weren't exactly his main band. He could talk about "Order From Chaos" which you know that NWN had reissued all their material, he could talk about Angelcorpse, he could talk about philosophy matters and other interests related to his book, etc.
I think they're some form of wireless earbud. But at the same time I never saw him wearing earplugs in videos of blasphemy playing live so they could be hearing aids too. That's just a guess though
@NWNPROD : Can you ask "Caller Of The Storms" a few things, on my behalf ? - Does he remember the exact date and the venue of the 1990 gig at Seattle, with Decadence ??? - Was really a gig with Dayglo Abortions in Victoria BC taken place, or not ??? Any specific date ??? - Jason Kolins had posted a Blasphemy poster of a gig called "A Thrash /Rap Event" gig at the "Graceland club", Vancouver, with the date of 29th November. Am I right to believe, that it was in November of 1993, prior to the "FuckChristTour" ??? Ryan DeathLord told me that "Caller" even has a VHS of that gig !!! - Whose idea was to use Beethoven's "Fidelio - Oh Welche Lust" as intro for "Fallen Angel Of Doom..." ??? It is a fantastic Cult intro !!!
I’ve hung out with/rode the bus several times etc with Murray from the Dayglos and he talked about the huge brawl that broke out that night at the Blasphemy/Dayglos show. I believe that iconic couch photo was taken backstage in Victoria that very night (the venue was called Sugar at one point, now it’s called the Capital Ballroom)
@@FTW_666 thank you for this info. Although, I do think that the couch photo was taken in one of the members' house, at the same place that the "Slayer - type" photo was taken with the members of Blasphemy "Slaying" the "Goddess Of Perversity" girl. If you have seen an outdoor photo of Blasphemy with "Goddess..." in pentagram made of flames, it seems that is from the same date - along with the infamous "goat with helmet in flames" video, that Marco Sodomizer says that is still exist. I still would love to know the exact date of the Dayglo Abortions /Blasphemy gig.
Absolutely man- and you’re probably right, that couch photo was likely taken at the house. I can’t remember if it was Murray or someone else who told me about that photo. I run into Murray quite a bit at shows etc, so I can ask him about the date. Cheers man
Great work Yosuke, you got in before Nardwuar!
