  • Welcome Period Six Designs!
This is my little YT channel where I share my love of crafting with the world.
    Website: www.periodsixg...
Today, I am doing a more detailed tutorial on the Starbucks Snowglobe Tumbler. In this go round I am talking more about making the hole, making and applying vinyl decals and blinging the lid of the Starbucks lid. I hope this helps clear up some of the questions you may have.
O I just remembered....you may wonder can you seal in the decals in epoxy. you can but it will just make the cup heavier and if you use permanent vinyl, it will last for years even with regular washing. Also, you wash it like a regular cup. It doesn't need special treatment.

I'm always afraid of screwing up the layering the way everyone else does it. Love this method instead. And it can save vinyl of there's a way to move the individual top layers to a small section of vinyl. That way you don't have so much empty space on the icing and sprinkle sheets. If you got time to play. I feel you with there ain't being enough time to get everything that everyone else wants done. You do you.

oh yeah you can rearrange the parts to line them up closer by ungrouping them. I was going to do it the 'right' way which is why I went ahead and cut them like that but then I had to ask myself who was I fooling lol

I have a question 🤔 How well have you found the vinyl is lasting without sealing since this video? Have you since found a way to seal without having to epoxy the acrylic snowglobes? Thank you!

I am glad you gave that little motivation speech girl. I struggle with chronic health issues 😪 It's hard for me to get motivated a lot of the time because of ongoing pain and fatigue that's unrelenting. 💔 Sometimes I just can't deal with it, and other times I just need to push through it. Thanks for that reminder 💪🏻

Omg I love your channel, your attitude, your vibe everything! I’m so happy I found it! I’m following along as I make my first tumbler and the Epoxy dripped down INTO the cup I didn’t use that much but my cup was completely full so it kind of sank into the liquid should I not fill it that much with the glitter/ liquid mix the next time? I used clear Elmer’s glue because that’s what I had on hand not sure if that makes a difference but it just seems like the expiry is too heavy for liquid to hold up I wish I could give you a visual lol but any help you could provide I would really appreciate ty😎

Hi I love your tutorials and have tried a couple of the tumblers but I have a question, I am using glycerin and distilled water in my tumbler and while the glitter isn't stuck or anything on my tumbler but most of the glitter is staying at the top and when I shake it it does go everywhere in the tumbler but when it sets the majority of it stays at the top of the tumbler, I am wondering if this is normal or am I doing something wrong? It looks good just the glitter stays at the top and not stuck or anything, Any help would be greatly appreciated . again I love your tutorials they are awesome. Thanks in advance,
    Melinda
