Not sure if I missed it in the video. Does the XSE have the “acoustic” glass? For a Better, quieter ride. Currently have a SE on hold but renting an XLE and it’s so quiet when the glass is closed
@@kbraap1 yes the XSE has it
Both XSE and XLR all have on windshield and front side windows. The SE only has it on windshield. Worth every penny if you want a quiet car
I would take the black grill bumper, not feeling the same body color grill
The se is the way to go
I know, it looks cheap to me with the same color grill.
Just wrap or paint the grill then not a big deal
Very little difference between the SE & XSE this generation, the SE has everything the XSE has minus the panoramic sunroof , leather seats , 19 inch wheels & 12.3 inch multimedia screen, and the SE even give you options to add a sunroof and a bigger media screen. I think the SE and LE are gonna make up majority of the sales especially since Toyota safety sense 3.0 is standard on all trims. Also the all black rims look way better on the SE .
I agree I would go se or le as Toyota didn’t change enough for me to go the extra dough.
Some tss 3.0 features are only available to the XSE/XLE as optional package.
@@NuhUhmm like what ?
@@NuhUhmm it’s standard on all trims but you do not get 360 camera, driver monitor sensor, front and rear auto braking , lane changing front or rear cross traffic and they can not be added on the se you have to go up to the xle or XSE.

Acoustic glass!!!! Big difference
A turbo v6 with a hybrid motor like the one optional in the Tacoma for the TRD ,or even just as a performance option would be great.
I couldn’t agree more
Yeah idk why they don’t make mild hybrid v6s like bmw did with the 3 series
I agree with you, Christopher!
SE is the most worth price wise comparing to other other 3.
I would go se
Red or black interior which interior should I get on a Wind Chill Pearl white exterior? Looking for opinions!?
Go with the red
Are the daytime running lights the same for each? They don't seem to light up in the video for the SE.
Same light
Is there that much difference in road noise with the XSE vs SE ??
@@will_in_texas if you drive them side by side you can tell a difference
@ Thanks good to know
Great review. Would have loved to see them make a 2025 TRD Camry - seems like the SE with some options is the best bang for your buck imo.
I agree the se is the way to go 👍
Great review Anthony. The mileage with decent performance is pretty amazing but I'd go with the Crown since it sits up higher and just looks better to me. I have seen that Cadillac is bringing back the Fleetwood Brougham and I would love to see you do a review of one of those. Happy Friday eve to you and hoping that you are doing great!
I like the Crown the drive to it feels like a smaller suv but it’s a sedan. I wish it was a hatchback though. The new Camry is awesome but I wouldn’t go to the XSE unless it was pre owned. I would option a few features on the se and call it a day. I’m going to Cadillac in a couple weeks so I will see what they have 😁 thanks James happy Friday eve.
@@HawkeyeRides Yeah Toyota for sure should have made the Cown a hatch. Oh nice! Cadillac makes some great cars. I love all the CTs and of course the CTV's the best 😁 Thanks Anthony..have a good one.
Wait for the all-new Crown Signia Wagon.
It'll sell better and be more useful, especially for urban and rural camping on vacation.
@@HawkeyeRides Hello Anthony, as always excellent review and great summary of the features. in my opinion the SE wins hands down and i wouldn't consider the XSE unless its a certified used car. However i did have one question about the camera on the SE. Is there any way to add a front or 360 camera as a factory option? i understand a dashcam option is available but i was more interested in a parking feature. I'm also really happy Toyota added rear vents on all trims.
@@z1az285 no it would have to be aftermarket for the 360 camera
Detailed review. Thx 👍🏽
Your welcome
Grandma would love it
They are nice
The SE has electric assist for the driver's seat. Can the front passenger seat also be electric assist on the SE trim or manual only? Also how does the XSE V6 Camry compare to the 2025 XSE, fun to drive or no? Test drove a V6 once it was super fast & fun! Haven't driven the 2025 models yet.
You cannot option power passenger seats on the se. The drive is the same as the se expect bigger wheels. It’s not the same as the v6 as it’s now more for better MPG’s than performance.

@@HawkeyeRides Oh ok got it thanks. I love how the XSE looks. But it comes to nearly 43k before taxes fully loaded. If I want a car that is practical yet fun to drive, would I be better off with a Lexus ES? The ES has a V6 option. Or better off with a 2022 Honda Accord 2.0?
@Umarrcs1999 go with the es and get the f sport handling package you will enjoy it more
I got the se i also got that rims from the xse installed in my se
That’s awesome congratulations and thanks for sharing
I cant believe the se has cokd weather package. The 18 inch wheels are perfect over the 19s have more meat. I dont need a sunroof i either have ac on or heat on..my only questions. Does SE have walkaway auto locks , and can i use the app from my phone to remote start?
No the se doesn’t have it but the app you can remote start
The SE with the convivence package for $1,500 more comes with the bigger screen for the infotament system, sunroof and the walkaway auto locks, just bought one yesterday.
@@HawkeyeRides The SE with the convivence package for $1,500 more comes with the bigger screen for the infotament system, sunroof and the walkaway auto locks, just bought one yesterday.
@VenomizedSupra good info thank you. This is what I need the convenience package with cold weather package. I noticed not sure if it's standard but most of the se already have the cold weather package
@@AG-yv8ybMine does not have the Heated or Cooled seats.
Se looks clean, wish it came with fabric seats since i dislike softex.
The Le has that but the se is a good pick
I agree Cloth seats are better! they dont burn your bottom on a hot day when you get in your car.
@@blakespower exactly, and they're more comfortable
@@abstractrain1246Nah I used to think this but the softex is so much more comfortable to me. I have light colored seats too so I don’t have to worry about heat as much
@HaiRune maybe it's just me but my current car has softex and it's not that great on long drives.
In canada is the SE able to get the 12" upgraded touchscreen? Or is that just an available upgrade in the USA?
Only in USA
Canada Toyota specs:
www.toyota.ca/toyota/en/vehicles/camry/models-specifications
I just got the SE and kind of like that all carpets inside the car S thick plastic with a good design i also have it in the trunk with Camry logo Wonder if that's for California or what cuz most of the videos i don't see that
No the se I show has the carpet inlays for the doors and dashboard
Looking at the XSE and XLE: take long trips, which has the better and quiet ride?? Thank you.
The xle will be a little smoother but both will be great for long trips and everyday
XSE better handling
Is the CVT transmission a dry sump lubrication system or a slush system? Does this new engine have a two piece timing chain cover to prevent the leaks the old one had?
Toyota uses a wet sump system and it’s a one piece.
No low profile tires! I like the SE but low profiles and pot holes don’t do well.
It’s a problem with bigger wheels
I’m getting one in two days so let’s see
Congratulations and let us know what you think
Are 19 inch wheels available for camry SE trim? ..
It doesn’t have an option for 19inch but I’m sure the dealer would change them out for you because it will fit
Just bought my wife an Ice Cap White 2025 Camry SE and it came with 19" wheels. It added a little to the price. The dealership had Camrys with 18 and 19" wheels. The 19" wheels just look better to my eye. A little more sporty. Great car BTW.
I got a 19" wheels on my se too
Anthony, does that Ice Cap color have pearl or metallic in the paint, or is it just a flat white’ish?
No it’s a flat white Lenny but not like a Matt color
@@HawkeyeRidesthanks for the reply Anthony! I like this color with the tinted windows and the gloss black wheels. That underground color is pretty sick too.
@@lennygarrison6836 I agree with you they are both great looking colors, they had a light blue color I saw before it sold, can’t remember the color but next time around if they have that one I will review it. Your welcome Lenny
Anthony do you also work at Gettel Toyota?
No I have 2 other dealerships but this one takes better care of me with inventory plus they gave me some shirts 😁. We are getting ready to expand to other states as I have a few teams in the DC and North Carolina area but with new software, adding storage drives and keeping my teams in Florida on rotation its push some scheduling back a little. Are you in the Florida area Jeffrey?
I'm in Minnesota Anthony, but I have a soft spot for St. Augustine and Clearwater. Let me know where you end up, would love to meet you in person one day. Jeffrey
I am familiar with DC as I went to university there.
@@jeffreyerickson6766 I have a few dealerships in Clearwater, that is where I started youtube, Infiniti of Clearwater was my first team then Mercedes Benz of Clearwater. I’m looking to schedule in the DC area in a few weeks. Tysons Corner Maserati / Alfa / BMW.
Let me know when you’re down here I can schedule around the area.
I'd love that Anthony, sounds good. Let me know how things are going for you as you go forward. Jeffrey Erickson Rochester, Minn.
In Mexico we won't have the SE version so I'll have to say I prefer the XSE version hahaha
Thanks for sharing
41k even with no parking sensors , OMG. USA car prices are so crazy now so expensive for Toyota!
I agree pricing keeps going up
why would you want a BLACK spoiler if your car is not black?... That's a win for the SE over the XSE
and why are they even doing spoilers on a Camry Hybrid? ... if the only reason is cosmetic, I'd rather have NO spoiler...
Spoilers are called spoilers because they spoil the looks of a car.
I’m all for the se
I also do not like the black spoiler on a white Camry. But the feature that I hate so much in this current generation of Camry compared to the immediate predecessor is the one-sided quasi exhaust outlet. It should have been located on both sides like the previous gen. If they must have it on one side, it looks better on the passenger side than on the driver side. Passenger side exhaust outlet used to be Toyota signature, but they've ruined it now.
Doing away with the v6 is another disappointment. In fact, it's a huge disappointment! At first, Toyota had seemed to be the only manufacturer that was not going to join the bandwagon 4-cylinder turbo, hybrid nonsense. But I quickly knew we had lost Toyota when they started pairing 4-cylinder with turbo in their Lexus lineup. However, I'm glad they still have exhaust tips visible, unlike what they did with the Crown.
What's the whole point of hiding tail pipes when the emission is still there, even though it is hidden? That's one of those senseless influences by environmentalists. Environmentalists are nut jobs.
@@brandononbrandjust say you like your cars looking like a base model rental car😂😂😂
@@RomanM803 haha... simple > tacky... and simple doesn't have to look like a rental car. For instance, Toyota could have put better looking wheels on the Camry LE trim. They had better looking wheels on the base Corolla Hybrid LE.
Spoilers and 19" wheels are tacky and silly... Form should follow function, and I think Toyota seems guilty of more tacky add-ons than other makes... another example: that fake plastic window in the C pillar; previous generation had glass there (or far less plastic).
General consensus… SE > XSE?
@@Preffixes one way to look at it
@@HawkeyeRides I’m just trying to gauge opinions, especially yours as your video is quite in depth.
My understanding is that the SE and XSE have different suspension.
That why I’m here to tell you that your understanding of the specs that I’m leaving a link to is incorrect 👍
Toyota Specs:

TRD Camry is much better. No wonder the used ones is much more expensive.
The trd is awesome
I love a two tones color, I would get a white paint with a blackout roof 😂
It is sharp
Ditto!
Color matching grill should have been reserved for the LE since it looks like a downgrade.
I like it but I would be fine with the se 👍
Neither... The LE! (Specifically with convenience package)
@@RS-qz6by it’s not everyone’s cup of tea
I would sacrifice 10mpg for a performance TRD edition with the turbo engine and a much larger electric motor in the rear.
I agree 👍
Or a TRD with 320 mi. EV range and 400+ hp. An electric Camry that could smoke everything except a Tesla would be way fun
@@Twominutedevotions w/ optional gas range extender module.
When will they have the TRD edition ?
Or a camry TRD RWD with the 2jz turbo engine 2000+ HP that would be fun
XSE or go home
They are nice too
Disagree. The painted grille is going to look terrible after a couple years (rock chips, bug stains, etc). I'de rather have an SE optioned with the multimedia, convenience, and cold weather packages.
To a certain degree, depending on where you drive and what you follow no matter what you’re driving you’re not gonna avoid being sandblasted over many years. The XSE is by far the best looking inside and out hence my comment.
Neither Camrys. Should never start near 30 grand, 20 grand MAYBE
It’s not everyone’s cup of tea 😁
These are 300,000 miles plus cars. Most Camry cars last for at least 15 years or more with high reliability. This is why you pay $30 plus thousand for a Camry.
Lately, Toyota has been bringing lots of features on the Camry because less people are buying sedans today.
New Camry look too agly
It’s not everyone’s cup of tea 👍
This car in 10 year use no one will buy it from you. Said no to the hybrid car ♻️
It’s not everyone’s cup of tea 👍
Or I buy a new Hybrid battery for 3-5k including labor and drive it another 10 years.
