Disney's Sing Along Songs: Colors Of The Wind Hosting Segments (UPDATED)

- Guess what? I've just realized that the US release of the "Disney's Sing Along Songs" volume "Colors Of The Wind" was originally going to include "Hakuna Matata" from "The Lion King", and, judging by the incidental zigzag music (as Andy Belling calls it), it was to be placed between "Cinderella Work Song" and "Why Should I Worry?" In my opinion, it kinda feels a bit short for seven songs for this volume.
For Ludwig von Drake's introduction to "Hakuna Matata", the audio source I used comes from Canta con Nosotros: Colores en el Viento, except I removed the Professor's Spanish voice and put in subtitles based on the dialogue from "A Square Peg in a Round Hole". Credit goes to Consuelo717 of the Internet Archive for the audio source:

Also, I used Adobe Illustrator to recreate the blue music staff and G-clef title card for "Hakuna Matata". It's not perfect, but it's close, especially the font.

Interesting.
I never knew Hakuna Matata was intended to be on the US release of the Colors of the Wind episode of DSAS. But yeah the runtime (24 minutes, one of the shortest of the DSAS episodes) is a giveaway that something may have been "deleted".
Very possible! "Hakuna Matata" could have very well been a song included on all releases with “Why Should I Worry” afterwards, and being after “The Work Song" in North America, and after “Casey Jr." in other releases, with "Let's All Sing Like The Birdies Sing" being something only included in the UK and Australia! I also think Ludwig Von Drake should have said the same thing Professor Owl did during the latter song, "Now everybody whistle"!
Hooray for me!😍😍😍💘💘💘💘💘💘💘💘💘💘💘💘💘💘💘💘💘💘

I Like It!
Octodaddy LOL!
Look who came to visit me? He's taught me all the secrets of flying. You know he knows about a lot of singing too, so let's all sing like the birdies do.
@Zord413 "taught", not "turning". And "so" not "now". Question mark in the first sentence is an exclamation mark.
@@elihechtman8 it's fixed!
Was is the same hosting segment for Disney's Sing-Along Songs: I Love to Laugh? 02:42
Yes, but this was also for international releases of "Colors of the Wind".
So the sing along lyrics Hakuta Matata from this video must be used for the 2003 version of circle of life instead of making the lyrics and making it uncut.
Right you are. It should explain the '90s telecine quality of the paintbox text.
0:48 Is that a Disney sound effect from the 1977 film?
Do you mean "The Rescuers"?
@@elihechtman8 No, The Many Adventures of Winnie the Pooh
@@dylanwomack2735 I'm pretty sure it's heard on other Disney titles, too...
This is sadly the last Disney sing-along songs volume to have a host.
@@Princess_-gp3ep That's not counting the episodes where Professor Owl technically hosts but is not seen physically outside of the opening sequence (Those being the Collection of All Time miniseries, as well as Honor to Us All -- the latter of which Professor Owl introduced Mulan as "the newest member of our Disney Family" during the title card for Honor to Us All itself).
@@AndrewsMagicandMore I guess Disney didn’t even bother having hosts in the later volumes with rare occasions and mostly having a voiceover.
Topsy Turvy for Curtain Segments and Honor to Us All for Chinese Fan Segments. Am I right?
From way up here the water looks good, but I'm not into this canoe stuff. It's a train I'm looking for and it's known is Casey Jr.
@@Zord413 "Canoe", not "caduce". And it's "as", not "is". And "into" is one word.
How were you able to access coyote tales?
