Awesome vid guys.....been to Ormeau heaps of times... Done tea cup a few also. It a great place. Live just a few klms from here so yea its my local go too....
Love your work boys, off-roading a CR-V just makes me smile. Have got a video on your mods because iv got one sitting in the paddock I might need to have some laughs with 🤣. HRG lift kit? Pinned clutch pack?
I've actually had a set of locked clutch plates from before HRG made them, I just haven't gotten around to fabricating the mounts for the viscous to get my tailshaft fabricated for it I did film something for that I never got around to editing it though, I'm going to try and get it done this weekend!
@@isakjetbean awesome, I got the impression you could still run the pinned/locked clutch pack without the viscous tail shaft mod as long as your not trying to do hard launches with 400+ hp like these crazy AWD converted civics in the US
I haven't been in there in a year, but I'm not too surprised. A couple of floods have washed through since. Interesting though, because the hill entry at 2:40 is the only spot on the main track that had changed over the 2ish years I'd been driving at Ormeau. I'll have to check it out soon
I live like 30 seconds down the main road from the footy fields so ormeau is now my local tracks and I love it. Recently got myself my first 4b. A 2022 dmax. Loves to climb. Getting use to descending and the rear wheel gets some air time when the nose drops into a hole. So I stick to the main roads in there until I get some mods going.
There's a lot of little pieces to get the suspension correct but I'm using: King lift springs 2" rear spacer 1.5" front spacer 2" trailing spacer 1" subframe/engine drop hardrace front and rear camber arms HRG rear camber arm drop bracket
Hey bro I have a 03 crv went there yesterday at the entrance 496 upper ormeau rd and went down the massive hill and got as far as another hill with all big boulders turned back and managed to get back up to the entrance missus was shitting herself lol anyway i didnt expect such advanced track what u guys are driving on is what im after so where is the other entrance please for more begginer track easier access. But yeh proud of my efforts if u know the entrance im talking about u can imagine me in my lil stock crv getting back up was scary
Which track are you looking for? The first half of the video is the entrance from Cliff Baron Rd, you head up and at the first open section where there's a clear right turn you head down and follow that track out to the road. The second track is right off the entrance of the entrance you went in at. I can't think specifically where you're talking about, there's quite a few tracks off that entrance. I know by following it to the end you end up at a very steep hill that loops around to the Cliff Baron Rd entrance but I haven't attempted it. I know new easier tracks have been built through since I last looked at it though
No, I recently removed the old airbox setup to build a high-flow airbox. The new airbox is all piped up to the snorkel, it just wasn't attached for this video
A well done video for once. I was wondering if you could get up the hills that you were going down at the beginning... Now we know. 😃 There are holes for hooks on the front chassis though. No need to connect to the lca...
Love the crv content!! Keep it up
Great footage, great edits, great soundtrack and lastly great friends
Nice content and edits! Thanks for making off road crv videos.
Been hoping to see some Southern Hemisphere crv action
First comment.. yeah saya paling suka kalau offroad melewati sungai 🔥
I agree haha, the river section was definitely the most fun!

Hi , great vidéo , thank's , love CRv offroad in the nature
Cheers mate 🤙🏻One of my favourite adventures yet
Was so much fun! Keen to get out and do it all over again!
Oath! I'm making it a priority to get my airbox in now, no drowning the CR-V 😂

Wow! This was exciting!
Solid videos! I enjoy your humor
I appreciate you saying that, I try and add little bits here and there where I see a moment haha
damn it looks so different now
like the spot at 1:52 is a massive wheel lifting climb. diff lock is needed unless your willing to give it a decent amount of right boot.

There's a lot of little pieces to get the suspension correct but I'm using:
King lift springs
2" rear spacer 1.5" front spacer
2" trailing spacer
1" subframe/engine drop
hardrace front and rear camber arms
HRG rear camber arm drop bracket

That snorkel is for style ?
