@@neo-filthyfrank1347 depends. I have watched every Godzilla movie made by Toho and Legendary, and I have to say Heisei is not arguably worse. I’d say Shin Godzilla would be arguably worse but that’s a deep hole I’m not going into. It just depends on what movie you watched first or what you expect from a Godzilla movie
@@tix2260 lmao no, Shin Godzilla is the second best Godzilla film ever made, Both Legendary films are right at the bottom, and so are the middle 4 heisei films, I can pretty objectively demonstrate it too.
@@tix2260 I think GMK is excellent, so I don't think that matters much. The problem is the heisei and monsterverse films are really psuedointellectual while simultaneously being really stupid movies. They try to sound deep and meaningful but the sound like they were written by a 14 year old who thinks he understands the world. Effects are generally horrible too, and so are the battles, though this is more of a heisei issue.
