Congratulations on your accomplishment. Great haul and love the braids. Yes, let the arms out. I had the same thought process about wearing pants, because of my hips and thighs. The older I got I stop caring what other people thought. I select pants that are flattering to my body. I think I have more pants in my closet than dresses. Now this 60 year old, goes sleeveless and rock pants in the same outfit. God bless.

You are amazing and yes, our bodies do change. Also apparently shops get different factories to make the same items, so sizes can vary. I just measure myself every now and again, then take a tape measure if I remember to see what the clothes are coming up as. Size labels mean nothing now. Congratulations on your fantastic news too xx

I love the dark blue dress but agree it's pricey. I'm not sure I could justify over £60. It is lovely though and looks great on.
I hear you with sizing. I am anywhere between a 16 and 20 - even a 22 H&M pair of trousers were tight. I've also been on a weight loss journey (lost 30kg in the last year), and am finding it so difficult to get the right size. Don't let the haters get you down. You don't have to explain anything. I can only think they were never taught not to say anything if they can't say anything nice or maybe they haven't bought new clothes in a while. Or both. Keep on doing what you're doing, Sweetheart. You're a joy.

Same as me. I’m going to slimming world and the scales have barely moved for a few weeks but my clothes are looser and people are commenting on my weight loss. Other plus size influencers are also confused with H&M sizing. Love this haul and I can see your weight loss 😊

Women’s sizing is all over the place depending on brand, store and a whole bunch of other things. Sometimes I wear a US 20, sometimes a 22. We love when you tell us because it helps our shopping especially online. Braids make you holiday ready. You look really good. Congratulations on the modeling opportunity

Hi Jodie, hope your doing OK ❤ I'm going to start with the jumpsuit. I hope you didn't or haven't sent back that jumpsuit because it looks absolutely stunning on you. The dresses are stunning but that £64 one didn't really do it for me! I like brighter colours and I think brighter colours suit you too. I love the trousers, basically, I love everything you wear!! I never used to wear bright colours a few years ago but then hubby saw something in the store and said I'd suit it and when I tried it on it really looked good 😂 since then I'm in bright colours for the majority of the summer. I do wear some brighter colours during other months but summertime is when they come out! Nothing in your face 😂 but things that suit my skin tone being mixed race too. Whereabouts in Africa are you going? Don't know if I've told you but I'm half Ghanaian and quarter French and quarter Irish! I tend to embrace my Ghanaian side more! I love the food, the clothes and definitely the food 😊 the people are lovely too ❤. Your going to love it. Is it your first time going? When you were talking about embracing how you look I loved it. We worry too much about what others think when they're not even looking at us! We tend to see things that aren't even happening. My motto is never judge anyone by appearance because there's more to a person than the outer. I personally go by personality. But everything you were saying was spot on. I hope someone listens to you and takes on board what you've said. Your friend isn't confident enough but everyone is different. Maybe she likes to feel hot! I can't wait to see what you get up to in Africa. Your going to have the time of your life. The sun, beaches, food, people, everything! Looking forward to seeing what you get up to...I'm nosey!! Last time I went to Ghana was in '96! I've lived there when I was younger on and off throughout my childhood with my parents and went to school there too. Trust me when I say the schools over there are harder than this country! But I did love it over there. My mum has been going since she was 16! She's 86 now! She's not been for a few years due to her health and when I say she's not happy is an understatement 😂 she's her happiest when she's in Ghana. She doesn't see herself as a white woman either she's a Ghanaian! Funny thing might happen Jodie when your there. The pains you have may ease a little because the sun, real sun will be getting into your bones. My dad had a lot of illnesses and was advised to go back home by his GP hence why we went back to live in '81 and it did improve his condition. He's sadly gone now, infact he's been gone for 39 years but the real sun is a medicine and your going to feel the benefits when you get there. I'm jealous though, can I come 😂😂 I can hide in your suitcase 😂 well have a lovely time and enjoy you won't want to come back 😂 just be aware of the attention you're going to get! Good attention! I'm on a weight-loss journey and have lost a considerable amount of weight and I'm all over the place with my sizes. I now am not liking my arms because of the batwings from weight-loss but I still wear sleeveless. I love ur hair like dat ur sooooooo BEAUTIFUL! Inoticed even when I was bigger H&M runs VERY BIG I'm not with the weight-loss at a L or XL. CONGRATS 🎉
It's quite hard to get to grips when your body changes, isn't it. I, too, have batwing too, but like you, I'm not letting it stop me from wearing sleeveless tops, etc. Thank you so much, darling, and well done, you for losing weight. I enjoyed this haul more than others you had recently as it portrayed younger fashion. The "Blue Willow" print dress looked great on you, as did the black and white jumpsuit!!! The Navy expensive dress looked old fashioned and the red T-
Shirt dress looked more like a night gown. Liked the other blue dresses, too. Loved the red shirt....not the black dress. Puffy sleeves are more out of style. The black bandeaux top is nice.

I’m a size 18 and have bought trousers out of H & M and fitted into the 14, their sizing either goes one way or another. I’ve got a friend who has a wardrobe full of beautiful clothes and the sizes go from a 10 - 20, she always says size is just a number and if it worries you, just cut the labels off. You inspire so many people on this channel and I for one have been inspired by your honest opinions about your outfits and I have bought a few items that I thought I would never wear because I’ve saw you wearing them and I get some many lovely comments when I’m wearing them. Listen, i decided a long time ago not to worry about what size is on the label. I wear what fits. And yes, H&M sizings are weird. Sometimes, i fit in a medium, large, XL, or even XXL, depending on the item. Don't people make you feel like you have to justify yourself. Do you and let them do them.😊

I do wish I'd seen that awful comment, because i would have vehemently defended you, that so unkind. When i lost weight (many years and many pounds ago), I would lose pounds one week and inches the next. So thats probably whats happening to you. Loved the haul, all except the blue stri dress and the last black dress. The blue and white dresses were gorgeous jodie i hope you can keep them. I was in H&M today but they stop at an XL there so it’s online for me. Just take linen and cotton to take on holiday as you will need them because of the heat. The navy dress was a bit expensive imo. You can get better than that elsewhere. I love the jumpsuit and that looked nice on you. I saw that today and fell in love with it. That is ideal for Africa. You don’t owe anyone an explanation so sod them lol. Last year I bought all size 24. This year am a 20/22. Am not on a diet so I can relate to you there. I need a brown or tan t shirt to go with a pr of linen trousers. I wore a lot of red so it’s put me off tbh. Try and keep off dark colours in Africa as it will make you feel hotter

Congratulations on your achievements,they are deserved. I am a size 22/24 and I have had to send clothes back because they were too small or big.I have even tried on the same dress in the same size and there have been differences. It's not you it's the manufactures. I am shocked by some of the prices as h&m used to be very reasonable. I love your channel because of your personality and what you say makes sense. With the black and white jumpsuit it depends how the print is placed to how it looks.If you can I would go in store to try it on. I am disabled and live with pain so I really appreciate all you do to show us how the clothes look ❤

The sizing in Marks and Spencer is all over the place I can get a size 18 and it will and another dress I have to get a size 20 so don’t take any notice what people say. Loved the vlog and the blue dresses on you they were lovely.❤️❤️

I have about 3 or 4 sizes in my clothes sometimes even from the same shop, none of them are the same, I have to up size for shorts down size for elastic waisted shirts. No one buys on line and everything fits.

There are shoes slippers and trainners that has a special sole which will alglin you body knees and heels they come in trendy styles alittle extra in price but well worth it . Voinic l wear the sandles but have to get house slippers. Clarks ha e their own brand. I recommend u try as l am sure it will help in your walking. Lov u C
