I don't see why not. I would first shape my flag then apply the decal over it using VMS Decal Set & Fix + VMS Decal Softener fluids (bundle). Finally a coat of VMS Matt or Satin varnish to make it look great. Chris
This stuff is awesome 👍. But you must use the VMS paper for stunning tarps. Chris was out of his paper when I found his stuff. And only paper I found 75. It worked, had to work a lot harder. But as soon as his paper came it got it and 💥 fantastic. When I moved I packed all my video stuff. 😢 I'm going to try with my phone. Soon do videoon this. I used it on my M24 chaffee VERY happy. Now I'm getting ready to use VMS powder #12 B black zero and binders. Before I start watching the video again 🤣🤣 God bless
@@Vmssupplies I just wish I'd had this products 30 years ago. My modeling ability would have been way better. Instead of white glue dirt from my yard and spit . 😁 this month I'm getting your ground cover mud. Seen it on night shift channel. Don't watch him much. He's beyond my skill so I stay in reality. 😁
No-one who's ever driven or been in/on an AFV would drape a tarp as casually as most modellers do. I understand the technique but honestly... it's really naff and unrealistic. Ever seen a tarp or cam net after it's been anyway near a hot surface such as engine louvres or exhausts, or been dragged into the running gear? My unit rolled and strapped everything down - tight; like professionals would. Imagine driving through woodland or scrub and having anything not tied down ripped off. In my honest opinion it makes it look like, well, a model.
I used the VMS Paper Shaper system recently and it looked very good!
Happy to hear that it worked out for you! 😍
Been using these products for 5 years or so, the best !
Cheers mate!
Great when something you see advertised actually works, !!! it does and its perfect
Thanks again for your kind words! 😍
Is it possible to use this in combination with decals to make flags?

Yeah those were the times when Humbrol and Model Master were kings! The mud is much fun to work with, you are in for a treat! 😁
Can the leftover fluid be put back in the bottle or saved?
Not advised, as it can introduce microbes into the product and spoil it (it's an acrylic water-based product). Best just use less fluid. Chris
does it affect paint? i want to paint some flags and then shape them. will the paint be damaged?
Hello, No it won't affect acrylic or enamel model paints, but don't use aquarelles as this product is water based.

I believe every modeller out there should read this comment, thanks a lot for the insight! Chris
