  • Yet another wonderful Celtic folk song that I've been obsessed with lately. I took influence from the excellent renditions that came before by the Corries, the Fureys, and the Campbells. Thanks for listening to my take on this classic!
    p.s. Although the recording had an odd technical error occur behind the scenes, I decided to keep it. Consider this a "live" performance with warts and all! I really enjoyed fiddling on this one too.

      Yes, it’s my “Red Violin” 🤗 He did build this 5-string well, and I’m always amazed at how it stays in tune. Sadly it is currently in need of repair, the back has slightly split off from the sides due to me not keeping it properly humidified over the years and exposure our dry Colorado air. But it still sounds good!
