Mewtwo feels like one of the most underrated characters that only has 1 or 2 issues holding it back
Make Mewtwo smaller and heavier, and I guarantee he would be top 10 of the best characters
Honestly, I'd make not only Mewtwo, but Sephiroth much heavier

@@nocando17 I am relatively good at the character and I don’t see these changes making him top 10, they could make improvements but his bigger issues come from small frame issues and the inconsistency of nair as far as being top tier goes

It's a little bit arbitrary. Confusion's hitstun gives Mewtwo no frame advantage at 0%, but it starts giving one frame of advantage at 15%, goes up to 2 frames at 40%, and keeps going up a frame every 25% from there until it caps at 6 frames of advantage at 140%. That's why Confusion to fair (a frame-7 move) can only lose to frame-1 escape options at 140%+, which almost no one in the cast even has in the air.
So basically Marth's/Lucina's Up-B, Luigi's Down B or Bayonetta's Bat Within

The pummels at 3:10 were soooooo well timed to the Checker Knights theme, close to timing with the throw too. That might be the most satisfying clip I've seen from the standard highlight videos you've done so far. Like a more natural version of those montages that make music timing with combo hits a focal point.
As a kirby main, I honestly think he really sucks. Not because the character is trash, simply because you constantly need to approach without having range or a projectile. Which is honestly really hard in certain matchups.
I also think he sucks but not because he's bad but because of his neutral B
I play Ken sometimes for fun. I get bodied by every Kirby. That’s a hard one.
correct, a top kirby from my region says that he literally relies on parries to win neutral, otherwise he relies on camping and let the opponent make a mistake. again if that doesn't work, parry it is.
Kirby can kill off of 1 or 2 interactions sometimes, plus he’s a matchup check for Tons of characters imo. He struggles against projectiles but most projectile characters don’t have as fast of close up buttons as Kirby. Kirby sucks cuz he has a rush down kit with his normals but just doesn’t have the air or ground speed to make it as effective as it should be.
Also because his recovery is super linear and his up special has no armor like Ike or Chrom
Honestly, a big part of what holds Mewtwo back is his physical attributes. He's big, he's light, and he's floaty. So he can get juggled and killed pretty easily.
if his tail had gotten fixed and a lil bit more heavy , he'd be a lot better
The tail is awful to deal with, but his weight is honestly the biggest issue. He should be significantly heavier for his size, especially considering how heavy smaller characters like Joker are.
Thats why hes fun. Hes unorthodoxed but has good kill options, disjointed hitboxes, and good mixups

Mewtwo is a true glass cannon, tall, floaty, with a massive tail. He has some great tools to make up for it though

Sometimes I get that happens when I accidentally breaks someone else’s shield due to the misfire does a ton of shield damage!
Jiggly's sing hit because you landed when the hitbox wasnt active. it hits 3 times in the animation and you landed between hit 2 and 3, so it looked like it missed but in reality you were in range.
i think the ftilt buff in the last (or second to last) balance update was so good. we couldn't ftilt on ledge before like that

Mewtwo are naturally MUCH heavier than Yoshi if I'm correct but for some reason, smash has it as a light character despite weighing 269 and standing at 6'7".
Mewtwo has a really strong advantage state and decent neutral. His problem is that he’s very tall and has a huge tail hurtbox. On top of that, his oos and defensive options are incredibly poor. Mewtwo is also very light, so Mewtwo gets combo’s pretty hard and pretty much dies at 60 from a smash attack. He has the advantage state of a high tier with the disadvantage of a bottom tier.
Also, Confusion has greater hitstun, and it actually true confirms into Forward Air at 140%!

Coming from a mewtwo main, he’s a really solid character. Syphoning damage is great for mew and his attack potency is unmatched.
Mewtwo is a high tier that is trested as a lowtier, he just needs a player to believe in him and put on the effort

It was just a joke in this match. But it is definitely possible to lag switch. Just upload a video on youtube or start a steam download during a match when you lose a stock. Easily doable.

If anyone reads this and plays smash a bit I am looking for some tips as I want to learn mewtwo myself.
Hold jab when you are right against a ledge for a free 50%.
Disable gets kills super early, so it's a good hail mary if you're behind.
A super stupid combo I love is: short hop, side B, fair. It's true on most characters at high percents (frame advantage on side B depends on %), and since side B is a command grab, it means you kill grounded, shielded opponents.
Tilts are awesome.
Nair is a great option, fastfall with it, use it to carry opponents during your second jump, cross shields over, it's fun.
On a lot of characters, fully charged Shadow Ball damages their shield enough that you can short hop fair through their shield.
I love Mewtwo because all his moves are so satisfying; he just has great moves on a bad body.

Your content is high quality because of YOU and how you pilot these characters, not the cutaways you add in post. Hoping this saves you some time while editing!
People enjoy the meme to edits and they add flavor and he probably likes putting them in.
Thanks a lot for your concern, but I actually like putting them in and many other viewers like it too. Tbh a lot of stuff gets cut out, because I don't like putting it in which includes memes, sfx and even entire matches (regardless of the outcome)
