An aquarium of small foliage plants makes the Aquarium set up look much bigger. The drawback is,small foliage water plants need much light. It seems much easier to keep the big leafed plants overall. But,if you do a 55 gallon in small foliage plants? It's as satisfying as a monster tank.
It is called Cladophora, and is a species of algae :) Usually you can buy it in the form of a ball, but it can be torn apart and flattened, to make such a grass-like carpet.

gdyby opis był po Polsku i Polski tytuł to by była oglądalnośc 10 razy większa i może coś rodacy dowiedzieli by sie nt akwarystyki. Koleś kaleczy po angielsku strasznie że bez dzwięku sie to znacznie lepiej ogląda. Akwaria godne podziwu, ogólnie pomysłowość naszych akwarystów mistrzostwo świata
Yup, that's true :) However, I don't like "aquascapes" which resemble "landscapes" too much. It's artificial for me. But there are lots of good aquascapes around, like in this vid, for example :)
How can no. 1 be the first place? just a few rocks with no natural look at all. (not to mention how common this was setup in Asian fish stores in Hong Kong) It's just my opinion people.
