Mirrored by the joy so many feel upon seeing Viktor running for the first time turning to something much darker when he, too, pushes things a little too far a little too fast.
"There are no happy ending, everything and everyone must face the consequences of their actions". This is a fair analysis for the series, especially in this episode with Jayce and Viktor.
10:30 remember in the flashback when young Viktor struggled to follow his toy boat on the river ? And now he's running and getting ahead of a real boat in the background.
The “I left her” can be read In several ways: She probably blames herself for leaving her alone in the first place. The “why did you leave me?” Powder yelled was for leaving her behind, she didn’t even cared to be hit in the face. Victor’s scene was actually amazing: we don’t just see him running, she was running faster than an actual ship while when he was a child was outrun by his toy-ship
I know you're finished on Patreon but, still spoilers: What I like about Vi's speech to the council is how absolutely, undeniably wrong she is. Everything she says about Silco is wrong. She claims that he will never back down and that he wants to destroy top side. However, at the first opportunity for peace, Silco took it and made his demands for peace. Vi's character sticks out to me as particularly tragic because of how misled she is. Her entire motivation is saving her sister, who is sadly the biggest lost cause I've ever seen. Her assumptions about Silco, Piltover, the Council and Enforcers, though reinforced by her time falsely imprisoned, is naive. It's based on her biases and experiences as a CHILD. Someone who couldn't fully understand the world, then she grew up isolated in prison and then was released back into a COMPLETELY altered society. What is she supposed to do? How is she SUPPOSED to have any CORRECT assumptions or notions about the world around her? There is no way she could form rational opinions or thoughts on anything, yet she's strong enough and angry enough to enforce her irrational ideals and motivations upon those around her and that's what makes her so interesting.
Arcane has a great way of surprising you with recurring tidbits seen throughout the series. For instance, Mama-darda's local cuisine was shown briefly in the brothel wearing a white lamb mask.
5:30 The _"Then a real monster showed up. And I just ran away"_ line could be taken so many different ways. The obvious one is Silco. However, I think Vi might have been instead talking about one of the following: The "real monster" is herself, seeing herself as one for being capable of striking her own sister at that moment, putting her own anger and frustration over her scared and remorseful sister. The "real monster" is Powder's recklessness and how destructive she can be. Personally, I think it's the first (Vi seeing herself as the "real monster").
Heads up, with season 2 of arcane coming next week, they’re doing another global community premiere event like they did for season one years ago. It’ll be a few hours before the new season premiere. Last time they actually streamed the first episode on Twitch. Act One of season 2 releases November 9th @ Midnight. Not sure if you know already or not but Arcane is split into 3 acts and each act is 3 episodes. One each week. Just a heads up in case you wanted to see any of it, love the reactions. Have a great day.
I cant wait for you to see vi's theme song, ekko's video "seconds", and Get jinxed. I don't remember if you already saw any of these, but it would definitely hit different. Another thing that i find funny is when reactors look at the champion page of the champions in the show. Viktor surprises then the most.
I hope you find time and watch Arcane Bridging the Rift. It is the making of Arcane and is equally enthralling, you won't be disappointed. I would love to see how it effects you. Great reactions once again from you. I really like how you express how you feel about a character at the moment by the way you say their name.
Lesbians really be breaking up without ever dating 😂 (as much as the scene ended with a reality check, i can't deny that the fight scene song "Snakes- PVRIS ft Miyavi" is one of my favorites from this season)
They show us this whole pop off scene with Jayce going ham in the underground then hit us with a dose of reality with that child.
The way the atmosphere automatically changed 😫

Who will be the celebrity not recognized by the interviewer this time? xD

Oh yes, the untold betrayal.

Episode nine hype!
Jayce managing to battle just like Vi might be a lil bit of a strech tbh, but its very cool scene still
Jinx jump scare!
15:10 In fact it was pretty realistic, no ones die immediately
Amazing reaction as always! Also... FAKER/T1 MADE IT TO WORLDS 2024 FINALS!!!! WOOHOO!!!
