I feel like they will turn the sadness to 100% for Encore's story. All of her story pieces in the game and the ending of the Resonator Showcase hint at depressing sh*t behind all the funny-haha stuff. She's an orphan and her imagination is her only refuge from reality.
If you've read her voice lines and back story...let's just say her mum is too close in her heart...Even Cloudy and Cosmos was originally a gift from her mother....
