- Skateboarding Had A log ot shoes this year and These are all of my rating on the shoes iv skated.

I totally got surprised with VANS this year. They actually are stepping in up with their cupsole shoes. I tried the Zahba first and they were ok, but then I jumped to the Rowan 2 and I just felt in love with them, it was the same love that I felt with the Joslin. Now the Rowans and the Joslins are my picks for skate shoes.
Dude me too lol.
Don't forget about them finally getting into reissues, bringing back Mike Carroll's Pro Model now known as The MC 96 and, most importantly, Geoff Rowley's XLT.
Both under The VCU Line, which is Vans equivalent of Nike SB's ISO pairs.
Which means, they're strictly skateshop exclusives. But, unlike Nike's, they're more accessible. As they can be also bought from the skateshop's online stores whereas Nike prohibits this.

Es Melange. Most underrated but imo the best skate shoe out right now. One piece stealth toe cap, heel secure stuff, grip almost like etnies michelin, cup sole but flex... all the good stuff.
Got the last pair off skatewarehouse havent skated them yet! Black gold such beauty
been watching since 2020 and the SOTY are always the best

@@gneratemusic I have both. The 306 fits like the old Emerica Heretic and it’s a vulc, I also have wide feet, and the 480 fits just a smidge wider to me. Both are true to size as far as length goes

i think my top 3 choices would be zahba, rowan 2, asics flexkee. the zahba mids are sick too, i prefer mid/high tops for skating. not all vans cup soles were good, but i've always preferred their cupsoles to vulcs

I really liked this video, keep up the good work. Been using your insoles in my Straye slip ons and I like them a lot, even did some impact testing and they held up even with my weight (260ibs, slight discomfort on landing but way better than even FP)
As for shoes.. I'd recommend the Straye highlands, the Emerica x Creature wino g6, and the last resort
VM001 Suede Spitfire (Black).
Wanting to try the last resort as my first pair! I have wide feet is it narrow fit?

Rowan 2 was almost too thick for me at first coming from half cabs and sk8-his. But now that they broke in I’m hooked. Have a second pair on standby

@@christianflores I think the 480’s are the perfect balance of the 1010s, 808s, 440s and 306’s. The insole itself is one of the nicest ones I’ve ever gotten from any shoe I’ve purchased in the last 5ish years. I have plantar fasciitis, I run, train and coach Muay Thai and for skating I just push wood and cruise for the most part these days and I can find no complaints on this right out the box. I plan on checking out your insole’s and laces in the new year as well. Really enjoy the channel and videos homey, have a great day.
Love the AS1’s. Been skating the Louie converse for a couple years and decided to pick up Alexis’s shoe. Great board feel and don’t give me chronic ankle pain when flicking

i highly recommend the emerica g6 ksl. that shoe is pretty stiff and has good impact protection

They’re discontinued. Emerica seems to be scrapping the G6 cupsole. The Spanky G6 is discontinued. Dakota’s pro model was supposed to have the G6 cupsole, but the company scrapped it last minute for a vulc. Even the Spanky G6 Mid has been delayed. It’ll have the same G6 tread, but an EVA midsole. Damn shame. Emerica still makes the Figgy G6 though!
And how do u rate the year in comparisson to previous ones? I think this year was hell weak for skate shoes, specialy cuz of pricing being so crazy...
Exactly this year seems weak, all the shoes this year don't look that great
the Jordan 4 skate shoe is a cool concept however they are going for anywhere from 300-600 dollars on eBay right now. I only saw one person skate them in person all year.
You should skate the New Balance 480's. Totally worth checking out.

Day 1 of commenting to get the Gobstopper reviewed. Minus the toxicity of Jimmy Fallon and the price tag for the shoe, it’s actually pretty comfortable. The sole is actually comfortable. I’ve got a bunch of shoes from Vans & converse to Jordan’s & Yeezy’s but the Gobstopper is my go to for when I know I’m gonna be making my feet work overtime
No idea what that is but I’ll check it out.

I tried the Rowan 2s on today at my local and...actually disappointed. Compared to the vans wayvees I've been skating they aren't nearly as comfortable. If I do get them at some point, swapping out the insole immediately.

The Rowan 2 insole is just a sockliner not a impact protection insole, as this is all built into the midsole: so it doesn’t feel all cushy when you just try it on but you’ll get much better impact protection when skating vs just a cushioned insole.

Reebok actually had plans on officially getting into skateboarding after decades had passed on their partnerships with DGK and Pharrell Williams Ice Cream.
But, during that moment, they were still property of Adidas. Which they were already trying to get rid of.
Which, they did. And, ironically, they were bought by the same conglomerate of which Shaquille O'Neil, who he was previously sponsored by, has shares in.
And thus, Reebok Skateboarding, fell apart.
And I don't know what they're doing because, even though the plan to make Reebok Skateboarding fell through, they just had a collab with Dime with very good reception.
Not to mention their collabs with Palace, which happened when they were still property of Adidas.
And Asics who people, mostly from Japan as it's a sub brand from legendary japanese sports brand Onitsuka Tiger, had longed for them to start a skateboarding division (mostly so they could have affordable skate shoes as most brands were either american or european of which taxes for them are criminal) and it has been 3 years since it happened.
They should get on it ASAP.

I love skateboarding. I love the videos,the culture,the act off doing it,hanging out with your skate buddies etc. And I also love skate shoes....BUT ! I think skate shoes are made so damn cheap yet sold to us at a higher price. Most skate shoes are simply not mate to be durable. Not enough protection and you rip them so damn face. I think what needs to happen is we need to get to the point where we pay like 130 dollars for a shoe that actually works.

Okay this is the tiniest feedback but I think it's important:
On your product page, PLEASE use images of the product in front of the box. The boxes are nice but I thought you had not released your insole yet as the box didn't really show me what the product is and all products look like they are the same thing.
Do you really expect me to read the text under it before I close the window? (I know that sounds snarky but that's as much attention as I have available)
Either way, I think your products are the best of any content creators as they actually are unique and have a specific benefit others do not.

The globes are so cheap in Australia. You guys get taxed crazy for them, i can find them on the regular here in Australia for $75 aud which is like $30-40 usd

@@christianflores reminds me of the 808s and 1010s put together, with the socklike fit of the figgys. The tread is my favorite of every shoe I have tried. I have insoles put into them (stock insoles are better then most though). for me personally I don't want to try any other shoe after these. Over the madness. This is my first pair, been skating them for about two months now and I can see them lasting another 2-4 months +
Call me crazy but I skate best in the Telford low. I’ve skated better quality shoes but they don’t work as well for me.
