Great to see the 8070 , we had two new in 1987 , D378 unv and D379 unv from Wards of Wellingborough . Great combines so reliable and nice sample given had 15ft headers on and used to drive down the roads with the headers on . Used to have 6610 ,7610 and an 8210 on grain cart with AS trailers . two 10 tonne and a 12 tonne on the 8210.
Absolutely loving these, that old New Holland was brilliant to see, as to dust I think barley dust is worst. As to the 1 in every 25 years, I am not sure, with climate change it might be a lot more than that, 1 in 3 or 1 in 5 perhaps. We'll know in a few years.
It's always a good thing when you're fighting for space It's amazing how the small mountain/hill range in the Highlands of Scotland changes the weather for us up here everywhere south of it had an amazing summer while the Highlands and Islands had a cool wet summer
Great video again Matt. Although we missed you in the summer it is clear why you didn't have time for posting, it is kinda nice to have the harvest again. What a great summer for all your harvesting. You were a man down too. Altogether it is a lot of work and you were talking about fields here over the hedge there another name there, in total what area do you cover between hay and combinable? It looks lovely land for it compared to our Cornish hills!

around 19 harvests here with very same combine... best one we ever had said late father & we was massey combines previously.

My old boss had a 8070 it his dream combine after trading in a new Holland 1540..We used to grain cart with single axle trailers too..
