Great, so in Nottingham, they have a brand new tram/ light rail mass transportation system and now new buses to compliment that. Whilst in west Yorkshire, we have no mass transportation of any kind, and the majority of bus services are late, unreliable whilst being mainly dependent on 11 years old, noisy, slow, unclean, uncomfortable and severely polluting buses. And to further rub salt into the wound, there has been chronic, extreme underfunding for our railways and our road network. Is it any wonder our road quality is utterly appalling (amongst the worst in the whole country) and the trains crushingly overcrowded?! At the end of the day, I am not selfish. So congratulations to the residents of Nottingham city, I hope you are grateful.
